Tyler grunted and turned his head to face Shade. "How long have you been here?" he asked, getting up to his knees.

Shade barked. "The whole time. Not that would understand me."

Tyler couldn't understand him, but he nodded. "What was on me?" he asked himself.

Shade shook his head. "Nothing."

Tyler looked back at Shade and sighed. "I don't know. Guess I'll never find out." he said, getting up. He wiped off some blood on his cheek, and started to walk back.

Shade followed him, keepign close to his heel.

When he entered the cave, he saw Yuki, asleep by the fire. He knelt down next to her and stroked her hair.

Shade walked inside and curled up by the fire. Yuki smiled in her sleep.
