The clan sat in a silent vigil over their fallen leader, Crowstar. He had lost his life to an
unknown bite that the clan's medicine cat was unable to identify. With the clan silent as a mouse,
an unease settled as Crowstar's lifeless body seemed to twitch. A strange gurgling noise suddenly
erupted from the black tom. Loud gasps sounded throughout the clan as his formally lifeless body
began to stand, the leader sputtered wildly, spittle flying from his muzzle. His eyes were void, but
somehow wild. He stumbled forward, latching his jaw onto a surprised molly in the crowd. She howled
with pain. A warrior ran forward, claws digging into the presumed dead leader, with a blow to the head
the leader collapsed. The molly wept, as the bite that matched Crowstar's bled. "Kill her!" A cat shouted
"She's sick, just like him!" The clan stared in horror, what curse had just fallen over them?

ii. do not kill unless you are defending your own life.
iii. the clan leader and medicine cats are required to
visit starclan everytime the moon is at its largest.
iv. queens, kits, and elders will always eat first
v. medicine cats will not take on mates, their
lives are permanently dedicated to the clan and starclan.

Extra rules created after the sickness

i. do not interact with the dead
ii. do not get bit, if you are bit
you will be killed.do not hide you are bit,
you will cause more harm.
iii. do not leave camp by yourself
iv. do not leave camp at night
v. blood loss must be stopped quickly,
the dead can smell blood from exceptionally
far ranges. the medicine cat den is full of scents,
you will be harbored there until the blood stops.

The molly laid in the queen's den, in a nest with feathers tangled into moss. Her eyes
slid open, and she gazed around her as light gently peaked into the den. She yawned
and rolled onto her back, which ached almost instantly. The queen groaned and stood,
before walking out of the den, noticing other cats emerging. Her ears twitched to the
soft morning sounds.

Waspflight was already awake, he never really slept late in the mornings, always wanting
to get his paws moving. He sat counting supplies, which he realized were low the night before.
Chervil, burdock root, and cobwebs, he thought to himself. They were always low on herbs
for bites and infections, as the clan was very wary of anything. Waspflight didn't mind the
amount of cats that visited him within the 2 moons of the outbreak, it gave him something to do.
He'd find a cat to go out with later, as he definitely couldn't go out by himself with the inability to yell.

The calico shecat wakes with a yawn, sunlight streaming in through a gap in the hollow bush she called her den. She had been hanging around near clan territory for a while but hadn't yet stepped foot onto their territory. She knew something was wrong with the clan, she was just unsure what. "No matter, today's the day! Introducing, Cinder, the charming and cunning loner!" She purrs to herself, deciding that she would finally announce her presence to the clan by leaving her scent all over their territory. With a stretch and another yawn, she gets to her paws and starts her own personal "tour" of clan territory. "Patrols should be heading out soon..."

the young feline was still asleep, she was curled up in a ball in her nest and as quiet as could be. the molly would wake at the slightly noise though as she was not much of a heavy sleeper. the molly was still, almost like that of a statue minus the rise and fall of her chest from her breathing.

the tom was usually awake before the sun rose and today was no different. rather than waiting to be put on patrol, the warrior was out and about, searching for prey. sparrowfall stalked throughout the territory, all his senses on high alert as he scented the air, following the trail of a mouse that had come through the area. he was tracking down breakfast and would soon catch it once he was close enough.

the young tom was stretched out in more than just his nest but probably someone else's. the warrior was known for not staying in just his nest during the early morning. even though he was asleep, he would probably wake if someone where to call his name or touch him. purring in his sleep, his paws twitched as the tom seemed to be enjoying his dreams.
