suddenly, a voice hissed in Pulse's ear, the owner of the horrible sound no where to be seen.
"Like she would run away," growled the voice. The sound was horrifying: it was bone-chilling, blood-curtling, spine-tingling, and it seemed capable of freezing blood.

Crystal smiled and followed him faster.

Pulse's neck fur went strait up, his eyes widened, but he said nothing.

Star got to the cave and lay down, her sides heaving. "Shadow! I--I think they're coming!" She exclaimed.

Fang saw Pulse's eyes grow wide. "Wha' is it'?" she asked. There is a part of Fang's voice, just a puny fragment, that sounded like that voice
The tone snarled. "That's right, thee had better be scared, Punk."

Shadow got down next to her. "Breath!" He told her.
