Featherclaw watched firekit closely. There was something about him that was...Different. She couldn't put a claw around the right word. Featherclaw looked at him and wispered,"He dousn't want to go. I can't steal him again!" into his ear. She then turned to look into his eyes and mewed,"I think it would be better for him to stay here." and willed him to understand.

Tigerfang was shocked. "Firekit, won't you miss your friend, that white one?" he asked him curiously. He hoped he'd say yes and remember those good times Tigerfang would never know about.
