Bombardier stared into Yellowjacket, taking another second to adjust her glasses. "Oh, and it seems you know where Pyrrhia is?" she said, eyes narrowed. She knew that Yellowjacket had no idea- why would she? There was nothing about a new continent anywhere. Turning towards the new voice, she tensed up and prepared to attack if need be- Yellowjacket's offensive display definitely wasn't helping their chances. Despite this, she didn't move: although worried as to what this strange dragon could do, she wasn't going to do what they asked. There were fruits to examine.

"New species. Sounds cool, but I doubt we're the first ones- after Clearsight, of course." he said, wondering if his words held any truth to them. Maybe they DID just discover a new tribe of dragon. If nobody knew about them now, they were lost to history- technically they rediscovered them. He also wondered if he was one of those dragons allowed to go to the palace: that meant he could stop worrying about these guards. Getting out of this new situation and a new species- this was going better.

Carmine shrugged in response to Agate's question. "Haven't seen her in a while, sorry for that. Maybe just fly about the kingdom or ask around, you're sure to find her that way." Pausing a moment to stabilize herself in the air, she added: "I could come with, if you like." She again hoped that wasn't the wrong thing to say, but it seemed like Agate was taking this well.

Blizzard decided to stay there- it wasn't every so often that something exciting like this happened. Sitting down and folding his wings around him, he prepared to watch and see what happened next. He knew that the queen didn't want him to talk to the prisoner...but he was so temped to! He didn't even really know what tribe they were of...

Sacarius was relieved when the queen released him, he eyed Sobek as he passed her. I don’t envy her... he thought. The awkwardness had seeped into the room, leaving him feeling like he was being chocked. Sacarius passed Blast next, and he hesitated. Blast didn’t say anything else besides about leaving tomorrow. He nodded, but continued down the hall without saying anything. He waited for her to say something else, but she just kept walking. He was about to just go back to his room as his mother instructed, but passing by the kitchen reminded him of how hungry he was. He entered the kitchen and found Crookedteeth, still chained up, picking at a bowl of fruit.


Sacarius sauntered over to Crookedteeth and sat down. After sitting, he was immediately swarmed by servants, offering to bring him food and drinks. He accepted, requesting that a plate be brought for Crookedteeth as well. You seem.. tied up at the moment..” he spoke, indicating the chains. Crookedteeth looked up from his scroll with a sour face. Sacrarius rolled his eyes, but assisted his brother anyway. When he was free, Crookedteeth just scowled at him some more, until platters of food were brought for them. Crookedteeth said nothing, picking at his meal. Sacarius wolfed down his food in what his mother would call an “unprince-like” manner. Crookedteeth smirked, and finally spoke “I’d warn you about the hazards of choking, but you seem to have a big enough mouth.” this made Sacarius laugh, “It seems you are correct, my friend,” he referred to his previous blunder in the throne room. “But, at least my jaw doesn’t look like a serious medical condition!” This caused Crookedteeth to scowl for a moment, but he couldn’t keep a small chuckle and smirk from escaping. Sacarius and Crookedteeth drank and talked a good portion of the night, until Sacarius returned to his room, drunk as... well.. a drunk pig.

xxinferno nodded her head in agreement with jasper's idea. his suggestion merely confirmed and added to her own reasons for taking the sandwing. the orange skywing blinked in surprise as her guard requested to stay to meet his brother. she thought about it for a moment. there were other dragons she could take, sure, but jasper was one of her favoured guards. she supposed she could always bring carmine instead. her champion would be as good as five guards and would most certainly be helpful when managing viper. inferno didn't really need the protection that much, she was perfectly capable of defending herself, yet the possibility of an ambush was always something she should consider when traveling outside of her own borders. "very well, I will take carmine in your place" the queen granted, nodding to her guard. a new idea popped into her head and she decided to ask for jasper's opinion on the matter. "what do you think, should I bring agate with me for experience? or should I leave him here to run the kingdom?" inferno asked, her gaze shifting to viper to make sure the young sandwing wasn't trying anything.

xxjacaranda snarled at the two unusual dragons once again. now that she looked at them, she could tell that they were nothing like anything she had seen before. even though their scales, at first impression, could be passed as a sandwing nightwing hybrid, she could now see the unusual patterning of their scales and the bright yellow that could only be achieved by a rainwing. neither of the dragons budged, but one of them curled its tail around itself, taking on an offensive stance. she could see the acid dripping from the tip of the tail and growled in warning. "as queen of the rainwings and, by extension, queen of the nightwings, I order you to stand down" jacaranda's scales shifted from lavender purple to an angry mottling of orange and red, her now-deep blue ruff flaring to display her dominance over the intruders. should the creatures refuse her demand, she would fire a venom warning shot.

xxgator rolled his eyes dramatically. "well clearsight didn't exactly return and tell pryrrhia of her discoveries now, did she? so technically, we were the first to discover them and tell pyrrhia of our find!" he tried to explain, though his logic was not exactly in the right place.

Yellowjacket froze for a moment not sure what to do in this situation, should she adhere to this Queen's demands and what would that mean for her loyalty to the Hivewing Queen. She shook her head to clear it and slowly moved her tail so the other dragon wouldn't perceive it as a threat. While she was fine in combat it was suicide to take on the army a Queen could probably muster by herself, not to mention they had no idea what these dragons are capable of.

Agate nodded "okay thank you." He then grinned in response to her question "and yeah I'd like if you came along." He twisted his head to look at the palace flicking his tail thoughtfully the sun made his scales glitter like tiny crystals.

Juniper opened her eyes "where am I?.." the sun was blinding and it took a few moments for them to adjust. "What happened?" she thought her head still groggy. She lay there her breathing heavy, a sharp pain ran along her leg and the faint metallic smell of blood tainted the air. She closed her eyes letting out a pained sigh before drifting back into darkness.

oooAs far as Medemia knew, those in the Scorpion Den were just a bunch of criminals or those looking to hide during the war. Hybrids of opposing tribes, SandWing criminals, the Outclaws, those were the types of dragons there. Honestly she wanted nothing to do with the place, they were it was practically just an anarchial section of the desert to her. She vaguely remembers being younger, her cowardly parents informing her about what the Scorpion Den was truly like. Unsophisticated bird brains, that’s what her mother called the lot of them. Medemia asked if there was anyway to help them, and they both responded with a curt “no.” Dragons in the Scorpion Den would sell out anyone just for a decent living space. It sounds like Sobek herself took this offer only for the security of the palace. ”Sounds like the Scorpion Den hasn’t changed at all.. I’ll be going to my own room, you should also see to it that you rest. Lack of sleep causes poor judgement.” Medemia stepped off her throne, but still held her head high. She radiated authority, and masked her exhaustion behind this air of importance.

oooWith the sudden presence of the queen, Treasureseeker already felt much safer. She rolled back on her talons and hurried to join her queen’s side. One of the new dragons took an offensive stance while the other remained neutral. Another warning from the queen and the first withdrew her dangerous tail. Treasureseeker was starting to get a headache, was she having a vision? Oh please no visions now, she was busy! Shaking her head, Treasureseeker glanced at the queen, noting her mighty stance. Treasureseeker couldn’t copy the impressive scale changing abilities, but she could at least try and appear impressive anyways. She just held her head high, deciding not to prepare a blast of fire since they were still in the rainforest. ”Queen Jacaranda, these dragons say they’re from a totally different continent! What should we do?” Her eyes were on the queen, her attention off the strange dragons.

Bombardier stayed quiet, not wanting to get on the queen's bad side. There would be no fighting for her- although she could manage herself in a fight, she wasn't at the level this queen was probably at. They were in an entirely new place, they had to be like the dragons here. "We don't mean any harm to you or your dragons, great Queen." she said, giving a slight bow. "We seem to be in a entirely new place and do not know where we are."

Carmine nodded, continuing to follow him. They were near the palace now, somewhere most dragons would hesitate to go near- but being the queen's champion, she was usually welcome around the area. She made sure not to lose sight of Agate as she looked around- it would be a little awkward to go looking for him while he looked for the queen. "You have any idea where she is?" she asked him.

"The scorpion den will likely remain unchanged until long after we're dead", she mused, "and even if it did the muddled gangs and dealings will just move to another oasis". She chuckled at the Queen's remark about judgement. "As you wish your grace", the odd colored sandwing said folding into an almost joking bow before walking towards the exit.

xxjacaranda narrowed her eyes at the two strange dragons. should she trust them? the aggressive one had redrawn its tail, taking on a less hostile stance. she listened to treasureseeker, absorbing the piece of information the nightwing gave her. "we'll see" she responded before turning to address the two strangers."I have a proposition for you both. you see, the land you are currently standing on is pyrrhia and at this current point in time, this land is plagued by war. I will offer the two of you a safe place to stay and teach you the ways of our land in exchange for information regarding what you are and where you come from and your aid in battle should it be deemed necessary" the rainwing queen offered. as she found there was no need for such a dominating display of colour, jac shifted her scales from their previous red and blue back to their typical lavender purple colour.

She frowned at what the Queen said, while she'd had experience in battle and there was definitely blood on her claws she didn't know how she felt about jumping into a foreign war. "All due respect, why should", she paused and glanced at Bombardier almost saying we before continuing carefully, "I fight for you, I am to young to remember my continent's last true war and who's to say you are on the right side of it". The yellow dragon's eyes lingered on the other dragon's scales curiously as they shifted in color, she vaguely remembered them shifting before but didn't truly register it until now.

"As fascinating as this discussion is, I have things to attend to", Caiman drawled signaling the guards to stay close to Gator and the newcomers to make sure they didn't try anything. The monarch banked off from the group with a personal guard trailing her aiming for one of the palaces open windows. She curled her wings against her body swooping into a room a few loose papers fluttering from the breeze. A small shivering sandwing was collapsed on the floor wheezing and sputtering as he weakly offered her a carefully rolled scroll. (Set up for the time skip)
