War of the clans(1X1)

Raventalon purred out a laugh, watching as a comet shot across the sky. "I warrior of Starclan, racing across the sky..." He smiled, inhaling the scents of the newly fallen night.

[MollySue]

Nightpaw padded forward slowly and sat beside Raventalon. She gazed into the water intently. Suddenly her paw shot forward and she scooped a small silver fish out of the water.

"I thought you were ThunderClan, not RiverClan." Raventalon laughed, and swiped at the water, letting a hail of water droplets fall over their heads, like stars falling from the sky.

[MollySue]

"That doesn't mean I can't learn tricks." She tossed the fish back into the water and shook out her fur.

[Crystal_Tigryphon]

Raventalon spun around, his tail whacking the fish into the air. He leaped up, straight at the sky, and caught it in his teeth. "Now, that's a waste of prey." He smiled, biting the fish in half cleanly and offering her the other.

"I don't eat fish." Nightpaw meowed. She glanced over at him uncertainly.

Raventalon narrowed his eyes at her. "Don't hunt it if you don't eat it." He said, swallowing the rest of the fish. He had never actually had it, but he never let food go to waste. He shook out his paw, which was covered in water, and laid back down. He spotted a form flying overhead, and smiled. "A brother." He laughed, caterwauling to the sky. A loud response came back in the form of a cawing raven.

Nightpaw glanced at the raven, then to Raventalon. "I threw it back, your the one who caught it."

[Crystal_Tigryphon]

"It would have died, though..." He looked into the water, a look of mercy hovering in his eyes. "I couldn't have allowed it to die as purposeless death." He sighed, dragging one claw through the sand of the lake shore, making zigzag patterns.

[MollySue]

"I should go." Nightpaw rose uncertainly.
