"Because she saved him. She wants to make sure she didn't get herself in trouble with Foxfang for nothing." He sat down at the water's edge, in an area that had been dubbed a neutral zone.

[MollySue]

Nightpaw kept well back not trusting the tom, especially not the Shadowclan deputy's brother. She glared at him. "And you came back because...?"

[Crystal_Tigryphon]

"Something told me to." He saw no point in lying to her, so he just told the truth. "Something in me was pulling me back, so I did it." He dipped his front paw into the water, watching it lap at his fur like a doting mother.

[MollySue]

"You sound like a mousebrain." She noted, still not relaxing.

[Crystal_Tigryphon]

"And you don't sound like a medicine cat." He said sharply, his eyes reflecting off of the darkening water. Stars began to come out, showing soft white dots in the vast mirror of the lake.

[MollySue]

"Perhaps because I always thought my destiny was to become a warrior. And for moons I was on that track. Starclan had another plan for me." Nightpaw turned her ice blue eyes to silverpelt.

[Crystal_Tigryphon]

"StarClan is very mysterious, and you shouldn't question their plans. Sometimes... I wish Crystalpaw had been chosen as a medicine cat apprentice. She's a wonderful warrior, but I hate seeing her getting into danger." He splashed the water, making ripples in the previously flat water. The moon rose over the horizon, setting his pelt to black flame.

[MollySue]

"I don't. But I still have the same spirit I did when I was a warrior apprentice." Nightpaw meowed fiercely.

[Crystal_Tigryphon]

Raventalon laughed, and laid down, feeling relaxed under the stars. "My name is Raventalon."

[MollySue]

"I'm Nightpaw." She meowed quietly. She glanced at him with her ice blue eyes.
