Em stroked Sunday as she combed her mane, seperating each strand. Sunday nickered silently as her mane was gently combed. Her girl looked at Jake, then back at Sunday. but Jake was right there, it was hard to ignore him

Eclipse chewed the mint and nudged his boy, he knew something was bothering him. Jake gave Eclipse's nose and stroke and ruffled his forelock.

Sarah left Riley for a minute, but came back with some brushes and other grooming supplies.

Em sighed and went to Sunday's tail, dragging the comb through. She picked up a sort of rythym, paying no attention. She was thinking about Jake, and wondering if she should ask him to come to her show. Again

She clipped a lead rope to Riley's halter and lead him out of his stall. She tied him to a post and began to comb his mane.

Jake gave Eclipse a final pat, he ruffled Hope's mane in the next stall before turning and spotting Em, looking at him, again. He sighed and tipped his hat to her before putting his grooming kit back in his locker.

Sarah finished Riley. She patted him and put all the brushes back in the grooming kit. She picked it up and put Riley back in his stall. Sarah smiled, stroking Riley.

Em narrowed her eyes, then tried to focus on Sunday. He acted like she was some obnoxious secret admirer. Guys are idiots, cant he see her frustration? Doesn't he know its pretty much his fault, this stress? She sighed and patted Sunday, then pulled out the curry comb

Sarah put the grooming kit away then came back to Riley, stroking his neck.

Jake sighed and shut his tack locker, he walked out of the barn and up to his dorm. He took a shower and pulled on some new, clean clothes, he walked down to the cafeteria and grabbed a apple. He munched it as he walked down to the barn.
