Em took Sunday out to lunge. She let Em slide the halter on with no problem, but jumped when the lunge lead was clipped in.

Anna turned Summer around and galloped back to the barn. She saw Em and waved.

Em stroked Sunday assuringly, lead in hand. She looked at Anna and held up her hand for 2 seconds, then went back to reassuring Sunday

Anna takes Summer into the barn and untacks her. She grooms away the sweat marks then leads her to the pasture. Summer runs out into the pasture and bucks a bit. She then settles down and starts to graze. Anna walks over to Danny Boy's stall and opens the door. She slips a halter on him and leads him outside. She carefully takes a bridle off the fence and shows it to him. Danny sniffs the bridle and Anna offers him the bit. Danny takes the bit and Anna slids the rest of the bridal over his head.

Ounce Sunday was calm, Em put her into a walk. Sunday had good, long legs and a nice even stride. But thats just a walk, Em put the lunge whip to her hip and put Sunday into a trot. Nice, even stride but a little choppy. Sunday tossed her blackk mane as she trotted

Anna let the bridal sit on Danny. She then grabbed a saddle pad. 'This could be harder' she thought. Shewalked over to Danny and ran the pad down his sides. He twitched his skin when the pad touched him, that was all. Encrouged Anna put it on his back then grabbed the saddle. She hoisted the saddle up and hung it over his back. She carefully, and slowly placed it on his back. Danny turned his head a bit to look at the saddle. "Good Boy" Anna crooned as she tightend the cinch.
