"Alright Bolt. What can you smell?" She didn't mind Bolt being around, however stupid his questions were. The companionship had helped her keep her mind straight.

He sniffed the air. "I can smell-" he paused for a moment to sniff again. "Mouse," he flicked his tail to his left. "And bird," he pointed his tail ahead of him. "I'll get the bird. You hunt the mouse," Silver replied. "Alright," he replied. He tracked the mouse, ending up to find it near a tree trunk eating an acorn. He placed each paw down lightly, avoiding every twig, leaf, and acorn. He was within a whiskers-length of the mouse before he pounced. He caught the mouse, but before killing it, he grasped it between his claws and dangled it in the air. After a few moments, he threw it to the ground and swiftly killed it.

As DawnClaw took a pause from reality he quickly snapped out of thoughts and noticed Leopardstar walking outside his den 'Oh, i'll go ask Leopardstar what task to do next, that might save some time' DawnClaw got up and dusted of the speckles of dirt from his back and tail and started padding towards the leader's den. The leader was looking at the sky; the sun shimmering on his pelt, DawnClaw wished he had a thinner coat so it wouldn't be so warm all the time but during leafbare it was nice. "Morning, Nice weather we're having." he purred calmly

"Bolt, come on!" She yowled at Bolt, her mew muffled by her bird. She limped through the trees, her back left leg throbbing with pain.

He heard Silver's mew. He dashed after her, his mouse dangling from his jaws. They both jumped the fallen tree and got back to their den. They dropped their prey in front of their nests and ate. The mouse was warm. He looked up to see Silverfrost's half-eaten bird and Silver tending to her leg with herbs. She was smart. He knew that. He liked being around Silver.

He was just a bit surprised himself when that almost seemed to work, though a soft hiss escaped him as his mentor recovered quickly. Taking advantage of his smaller size he instead dove under Foxtongue as he tried to slam into him, taking a quick swipe at the older tom's foreleg as he did before trying to dart back out of range before there could be more retaliation.

He gave an amused purr at the question, though opted not to answer until after they'd reached the pile and Gingersplash had chosen the squirrel. "It's fine with me," he stated. "I'm afraid that if you expect any grand reason or meaning behind my name, you will be greatly disappointed though," Cody noted, still clearly amused. "My birth mother named me after her father before she died, he was a kittypet." He only knew this because he'd very briefly met the tom after he'd been chased off, just before he'd met Viper. He'd been incredibly upset to learn of his daughter's fate- and apologetic that there was little he could do for his grandson- though not horribly surprised on either account. Apparently difficult kittings ran in the family, and he'd never trusted his daughter's mate from the beginning.

Silver woke from a nap. She looked under her nest. All the herbs are dry. She got up from her nest and padded outside. She gave a quick stretch. She padded a few fox-lengths outside of the den before walking faster. She came by some catmint, right at the border. She picked it, hoping no cat would notice. She dropped it outside her den and gathered more. After a few moments, she had plenty of tansy, chervil root, and cobwebs. She placed all the herbs under her nest. "Bolt, wake up. Let me clean the bedding." She dragged her nest out and shook it out.

He woke up from his nap when Silverfrost asked him a question. "What did you say?" He was tried and didn't quite hear her. "I said move. I'm cleaning our bedding." He got out of his nest and Silver dragged it outside. He and Silver both collected their own bedding, not really talking. He noticed that Silver had restocked on herbs, and she wasn't limping too much either.

Sparkfall flicked her tail and padded outside. Bending down to reach the fresh-kill pile, she smelt the smell of prey just wanting to be eaten. Since she hadn't done anything for the clan, she took a small vole and took it away from the pile to eat.

Bolt and Silver had finished cleaning out the bedding. "Bolt, let's go hunting. We can relax for a while, then do battle training later." She started going near the border again, Bolt following. "Bolt, you must catch three pieces of prey. Meet me back here when you finish."

They neared the border. Again? Why did Silverfrost always want to be by the border? He listened to Silverfrost as she talked. "Okay. See you back here," he called out before dashing into the forest. He spotted a mouse near the bottom of a tree, nibbling on an acorn. He stalked close to it, then pounced. He caught it and killed it with a swift bite.
He met Silver back at the spot a few moments ((minutes)) later. He had caught a bird and two mice. He noticed she caught three birds. "Nice catch," he said. She nodded and grabbed her birds. He grabbed his prey, and the started to head back to their den.

Heatherpaw sat outside the Medicine Cat's den, staring off into the distance. She wondered how her brothers were doing, and what her mentor was up to. Moreso, she wondered what she should do for the rest of the day; she had reorganized the herbs already, and given the elders some of their daily care.

Hm. Foxtongue's weight carried him a step to the side, and his foreleg took the apprentice's swipe, but he tensed his legs to redirect his momentum into a pounce. He winced slightly - at least, he told himself, this means his training has gone well. As he launched himself towards his apprentice, he moved his feet forward, attempting to land on Fadedpaw to bring him down.

As he realized more of the frightening cats were present, Buttons tried to move backwards but fell onto his behind. "I-I don't know, maybe they still could. Why would they leave me here?" A nervous noise rose in his throat, and he pawed anxiously at the ground to scoot backwards. "P-please don't hurt me. I promise I'm not any good- I haven't eaten so I'm probably not very tasty! And I don't want to die. I don't want to die. I really, really don't want to." Buttons flattened his ears against his head and squinted his eyes, as if that would somehow save him from this terrifying situation.
