Fadedpaw flinched slightly at Burningpaw's name, eyes trained on the ground as he followed after his mentor. The only response he gave was a quiet "yeah...", his voice just a bit strained. He'd do what he had to in order to become a warrior, for his own sake and for Burningpaw's. That much he knew, he planned on. He'd promised himself as much. When Foxtongue suddenly leapt forward though, leaving him behind, Fadedpaw made a startled noise in his throat. Almost tripping in his haste he bound ahead in a desperate attempt to catch up with him.

Cody tilted his head slightly at the warrior's approach, shrugging his shoulders slightly as his walking slowed. He shifted his weight to free a paw, hooking his claws into the bird to hold it so he could speak- "No, it was just this." he noted casually, actually managing to toss the bird into the pile from where he was. He ran his tongue over his claws to free a bit of downy feather from them before speaking again. "Short trip." It had mostly just been an excuse to get out of camp for a moment, away from the cats fussing over it.

Ashpaw crept along the loose rocks of the mountainous terrain. Sure, he'd snuck out of camp before the sun rose, but surely Dusklight wouldn't be too angry once he'd brought back a juicy piece of prey. It wasn't long before he heard a cat shriek 'PLEASE DON'T EAT ME'. At once, Ashpaw pressed himself flat against the rocks. He didn't recognize the cat's voice, but the scent of Gorsefur did cross his nose. Getting caught out here alone by the deputy would mean getting tasked with cleaning out bedding for a moon. Not wanting to be discovered, Ashpaw stayed still and quiet until the two cats were distracted enough for him to make an escape.

He heard Silver call for him. He got out of his nest and stretched. "Coming," he yawned. He padded out of the den and saw her looking at the sky. "t's a nice day, huh?" he ventured. Silver didn't like his stupid comments or questions.

Warrior ~ She-cat ~ 25 moons ~ Location: Border

A dark lithe figure slipped through the trees, heading in the direction of Hazeclan's territory border. The lone warrior stopped for a moment, opened her mouth to scent the air, before continuing on. The trees began to thicken a little by the time she was close to the border of her clan's territory, near where the two leg place was. Whiteleaf stopped at the edge of the border, marking it quickly with her own scent before noticing a large rabbit wildly racing its way from deeper in the territory. The white and ginger tabby she-cat dropped into the hunter's crouch before bursting through the undergrowth in between her and her prey. Whiteleaf caught it between her paws easily, before going in for the killing bite. Her prey immediately went limp. and the she-cat let out a small purr of satisfaction. Whiteleaf picked up the fresh-kill and was about to head back towards the camp when she heard a frightened yowl. She quickly headed towards it, but before she knew it she hit something. Dropping her fresh-kill to the ground, she looked around with narrowed eyes to see an apprentice. "What are you doing here alone Ashpaw?" she asked. "Where's Dusklight?"

The leader padded out of his den quietly scanning the camp. He took note of everyone who was awake and moving around. Feeling a small breeze ruffle his fur he smiled softly and stretched. His eyes landed on his Daughter and he saw she was getting older. He knew then that the innocent little kit wasn’t so much a kit anymore, or innocent. He sighed, he couldn’t believe she was 2 moons off from being a warrior, from being able to settle down and have a family of her own. He shook his head and he looked up to the ancestors and sent up a silent plea to his deceased mate. Such a shame to have lost her so soon.

The long haired female came into camp with Jaws full of food for the clan. The prey was dangling out of her mouth spaying with each step. She dropped the kill into the pile and nodded her head; it was a difficult hunt but that’s because she isn’t very good at it. Scarletfeather sat and started to groom her fur getting the leaves and twigs out of it.

The tomcat almost winced at the shrillness of the much younger cats yowl, knowing that he would have to travel far to find any prey that hasn't been scared off by the noise. While he watched him, the deputy scented two other scents, belonging to Ashpaw and the warrior, Whiteleaf. He then made a mental note to talk with the young apprentice later, but his focus now was on this kittypet in his territory. The tabby knew he was far from a threat, but he couldn't have outsiders claim land and think of the clan as soft, so when he became face-to-face with the young tom, he let out a warning snarl. "What are you doing on HazeClan territory?" He practically hissed, although he was on the smaller size, you could tell he was not to be messed with as there were visible scars over his pelt.

The ginger tom then nodded his head as he let out a slight friendly purr, "well, hey, at least it's something fresh for the pile," he said before flicking his tail towards it, "want to grab a bite with me?" He asked as he wanted to try and get to know this tom and understand where he came from and the meaning behind his name.

The ginger tom yawned as he stretched his legs and paws in his nest inside the warrior den, he had be apart of a moon-
high patrol and caught a few pieces of prey while on it, which caused the tom to become exhausted and to take a nap.
During times like this is when the warrior was glad he had no apprentice, as he didn't have to worry about waking up
earlier to go training or something with a younger, more hyper cat. The tom then stood before walking out of the den,
looking around for someone to talk to, he was about to go see his brother but noticed him talking with another cat,
which Robinflight did not want to intrude so he just sat outside of the den as he started to groom his somewhat messy
fur.

When she heard her name she turned around and purred a greeting towards her denmate as she licked a paw and drew it over her whiskers before answering him, "good morning to you too, Quickpaw," she began before turning fully to him, "I'm great, I just hope my mentor can take me out training soon, how are you? Did you sleep well?" She asked as her spotted golden pelt shown brightly in the morning sun.

As the old, creaky tom made his way into the Medicine Cat den, Heatherpaw smiled. "I'm sure I can find something, Sootfur," she murmured, turning back to the measly storage of herbs. Let's see... Relieved, she recalled that they had been able to find plenty of daisy leaf on their journey. Pawing through a pile, Heatherpaw pulled out a few of the dark green leaves and began to chew on them. When she judged that they were finished, she rubbed the resulting paste onto Sootfur's hips, legs, and shoulders. "That should help with your pain and stiffness. If they aren't feeling any better in a few hours, let me know and I can try something else. How have you been, Sootfur?" She didn't bother inquiring about his son; the apprentice already knew the quality of their relationship.

Foxtongue chuckled to himself as he bounded away from his apprentice. There's nothing quite like surprise forced action to temporarily remove you from dark thoughts. Once they reached flatter ground, he slowed his pace, allowing his apprentice time to catch up as they approached the clearing. "I suspect that that was a good enough warm-up for you for today's session. Now, I know that we've done some basic sparring before, and I'm sure you've tried some on your own, but I want to see exactly where you are. So..." The ginger tom grinned, adjusted his stance, and shrugged. "Try to attack me."

The skinny cat jumped in fright, giving an eep! in surprise. He raised his hackles, quite lamely attempting to appear strong. "I-I'm just.. waiting for my twolegs! Because..because they're going to come back to get me! Yeah! They're definitely going to come back again! S-so.." Trembling from terror at meeting one of the cats he had heard to be murderous, merciless, and...outstandingly unclean, he very quickly forgot to keep himself fluffed up and, if anything, shrank further towards the ground, "So please don't kill me and eat me! I'm not stealing your food! I can't even...catch anything anyway... and I won't come back when my twolegs come take me home! They've been gone for only five days, I-I'm sure they're just settling in to their new nest!"
