Vrahos laughed at Midnight and copied Laski's movements, still having no clue what they meant. "Where's your friend? He could translate, right?" Vrahos asked, wanting so much to run and play with Laski and Midnight.

Laski wagged his tail and nodded back towards the set-up. He layed down and pretended to be sleeping, knowing it was simple enough for them to understand.

"He's sleeping, then?" Vrahos said. "Should we let him sleep and pester him later?" he asked as he batted at a firefly. The little bugs delighted him so much that he simply wished he could put them in a jar and keep them forever.

Laski nodded, then walked over to Vrahos and pushed down his butt, making him sit. He padded the ground in front of him with his paw. Then, hoping they stayed, ran off to get Harlo.

Vrahos watched as Laski hurried away. He looked at Midnight. "Where's he going? To get his friend?" He asked. Vrahos waited for his new friend to return and listened to the crickets sing. Their beautiful chirps filled the night air as the lightening bugs waltzed to the song.

Laski pounded into the den, bit Harlo's ear, and dragged him outside. "What?! What's going on?!" Harlo yelped, half awake. 'Come, come!' Laski butted his flank. "oh...ok." Harlo followed his friend, blinking into awakness. They padded back to Vrahos and Midnight, and Laski did the same happy bounds when he reached them. 'Friends! Friends! New friends!' Harlo looked around quietly. "Are you sure they're friends, Laski?"

"I wouldn't hurt you, as long as you don't hurt me," Vrahos said. "But Midnight is ust crazy," he joked, thumping his tail on the ground. "I'm Vrahos. What's your guys' names? Your friend can't tell us," he said, hoping Laski didn't mind.

"I...uh... This is Laski, and I'm Harlo." Laski leaped up, stomping his feet again. "He's saying your good friends." Harlo murmured

"We are acting like little pups. And it's fun, too," he said. "Hey, where did Midnight take that rabbit off too?" he asked as he stood and looked around. He sniffed the air and turned back to Harlo and Laski, tail waging.

Sky sat staring up at the sky. Missing the company of other wolves. He let out a low solemn howl to the sky. NOt really caring if anyone responded.
