Midnight watched silently then laid her head down on her paws. He'd probably only be scared or run if he knew she was here anyway so she didn't bother talking to or showing herself to him.

Laski wagged his tail, and like a puppy, grabbed the carcass and tossed it in the air. When it dropped in front of him, he did it again and tried to catch it. He made happy, rasping noises in his throat, and squeaked a few times in an attempt to bark.

"Whatever happened to that turkey of yours?" Midnight asked from inside the hole, deciding it was probably best to stay where she was for now.

Laski whirled around at the voice, bristling slightly. Pinpointing where the voice came from he made motions with his mouth.

From across the meadow, Vrahos watched Laski play. He faintly heard the raspy sounds he made as he played. Vrahos wagged his tail at him humorously. He laughed quietly, wanting to join in the fun. When he heard Midnight's voice, he twitched his ears, curious of the outcome.

Midnight flicked her ear a little then jumped out with ease to see Laski. She noticed how he bristled and sighed a little at that. "Oh, so you scared much too? Oh yeah, I'm sooo scary." Midnight said simply, tired of his friend harlo and a few others thinking she was going to do something mean.

Laski relaxed when he recognized her, and wagged his tail happily. Forgetting she couldn't understand, he whirled his head in a circle and bowed down with one paw extended.

Midnight watched him silently. "You can't talk......can you...." She said. "And aren't you with your friend? I thought you two were like a...'pack'..." Even though, she knew he probably couldn't reply in a way she would understand, she couldn't help but wonder.
