Ren rolled onto her back and yawned. At least they had more food now. This day had been pretty busy for her. Duro attacked her, she caught a rabbit, she went hunting with barren, ran into two males wolves who oddly ran away, and, the last one that she was still trying to get used to, barren asking her to be his mate. She didn't really now how to be an alphess....usually she trained hard to earn ranks which is how she got up to beta but she never thought she'd move up a rank again, one that she didn't know she would and didn't know what she had to do.

Barren smiled, letting loose a qiute snarl before ripping into the food. He enjoyed the warm blood that stained his muzzle, hungrier than he thought.

Midnight nodded. "Yes, it definately is. So what are you doing here?" She asked curiously. It seemed like hardly any wolves were asleep yet.

Ren chuckled a little bit. "Hungry much?" She asked teasingly then stood. Ren soon joined him in eating and every now and then would tug the carcass away from him slightly, teasingly.

Sky felt great ecstasy towards Midnight. She was very kind and fun to be around. Then he saw a new wolf apear and recognized him as one of the male wolfs that Midnight had been with earlier. Sky stood and said "Midnight i had a great time tonight. Perhaps i'll see you again." nodding a greating to the male afterwards. He then walked off back towards his territory not wanting to.

Midnight smiled. "Bye!" She called after Sky then began pawing at the fireflies again, not chasing them this time though.

Harlo and Laski got tired and curled up in their nests. Laski dreamed of being able to talk, and Harlo dreamed about running on water. Both slept right through the night.

Midnight wandered off soon. "I should get rest." She said then crawled into a den and soon fell into a deep sleep, exhausted.

Laski woke before Harlo. Making sure he was still asleep, he crawled out and bounded into the woods. He sat on a large rock and practiced howling. They came out as raspy breaths. Sighing, he leaped off and trotted deeper into the woods.

Midnight woke up when she heard scuffling near her den outside. She poked her head out of the entrance and saw a group of coyotes snacking on a dead rabbit. A few soon began yowling loudly and making loud yapping sounds.

Laski raised his head as he heard coyotes yapping at each other. Smiling to himself, he charged through the ferns and pounced from behind them, baring his fangs and bristling. He smiled as they ran off.
