Edmund stopped and laid on the ground. Why him?

Arron fought tears as he walked over to Moon, leaning his head against hers. It was so awful. Night was gone, but the pup still survived. "Edmund will care for the pup." he murmured.

Zelma didn't understand. It wasn't like the other wolves were Edmund or Night's family, so why bother with it? She allowed herself to roam around.

Sivs walked through the forest cold and cranky. Then, he saw another wolf (Which was Zelma). If he was his normal self, he would be nice. But today, he lunged at her and pinned her on the ground. "Who are you?" He said.

[*Moon <3*]

"I know. Its just so..." Moon couldn't finish she was crying so hard. Why did it happen when Edmund was finally happy?

"Terrible." Arron finished. "I wish there was something I could do but. . ." he trailed off, unsure. "It's so sad. Edmund didn't deserve that." Arron looked at her, watched the tears stream down her face.

"Maybe she was needed up there?", Moon managed through her tears. "Its all worse because he's like a brother to me."

"To me, Edmund is my brother." Arron replied. "So much for this nice day." He muttered more to himself than Moon.
