Stretching her claws out from her white soft paws DoveStar awoke. Conciousness hit her like a streak of lightning from the sky
on a rainy day. She shook her head slightly as the shock of waking slowly ebbed out of her bones. Her paws pulled back toward
s her body sensitive to the cool air that traced over her pads. Her nose twitched before a soft sneeze echoed out of her maw.
She traced her paw back over her nose to swipe away whatever had irritated her. Standing she took a brief moment to stretch
out along the den floor before slipping out of her den to greet the day.

PebbleSky was always awake early, the second the sun rose above the mountain landscape he was bubbling with energy. It was
a miracle in itself that he could manage to be one of the last to sleep and the earliest to rise without feeling the toll on his b
ody or mind. If you were to ask him he would let out a boisterous laugh, 'I can't waste my time sleeping'. And he was very ada
mant that he would never waste his time. What qualified for a waste of time was very hard to place if you weren't pebblesky
because he would spend hours staring at the clouds with a dumb smile on his face, just happy to see the world turning. He ju
st loved life and any moment that wasn't spent peppering the world and those in it with his affections was wasted. His ears t
witched as his attention was directed towards the leader's den, eyes eagerly greeting the leader as she awoke. His tail curled
happily to see that there were some members of the clan waking up.

The chill of the morning air falling off of the mountain tops and into the camp of SummitClan made the hair on CloudTuft's sh
oulders raise with discomfort. She let out a soft hiss into the chill. She bore a pelt of medium length and while it wasn't the s
hortest of pelts the chill did manage to seep into her skin and make her bones ache. Beyond her initial reactions, he bore no
signs of discomfort, quickly adjusting to the sensation. She knew why the cold was getting to her; having sacrificed some of h
er nest lining to one of her clanmates who had complained about the cold. She hadn't even considered her own warmth when
she had given up the moss. Standing up she pawed the remaining moss that lined the dip in the stone floor that she occupied.
The sensation of the dull green plant matter scratching at her pads was calming. Claws releasing she took a claw full of the m
oss and tossed it in the air, watching as it skirted a short distance away from her nest. She would need to get some new moss
for her nest as a whole, what she had for her nest lining was getting far too old for the cool chill of the nights. The idea of ne
wer and comfier nests didn't sit well with her, just the bare minimum. She would see to it this morning- or maybe tomorrow.
She took a moment, hovering over her nest to clean her pelt free of the moss she had been so readily contemplating.

RedFlight was restless in his nest, eyes wide open as he laid on his side staring at the den wall. The chirping of birds drilling i
nto his ears like an alarm clock blaring. He racked his mind hoping to recall a moment he had slept which he had forgotten d
uring the long night. He squinted his eyes, a dull ache spreading throughout his body. No, he didn't sleep- the sound of bodies
beginning to shift around him was a signal for him to feign waking up. The first attempt to move his paws to his chest so he c
ould push himself to his feet was a hopeless failure. He groaned willing his body to start up against all the odds he stacked hi
mself against. He yawned his brain finally firing out signals to his limbs, movement achieved after laying stiff for the whole n
ight. Standing was done in a slow motion and he quickly made his way out of his nest, beelining for the den entrance. Making
it on the bare minimum he leaned against the entrance, taking a moment to catch his breath, red pelt heaving as his brain a
ched.

the sun rose, and timberpaw's eyelids flickered open as light flowed through the den. yawning, he shook out his pelt in an attempt to rid of the feathers and moss clinging to his pelt, though he still had to lick his fur a few times to clean all the bedding out of his coat. he padded out of the den and glanced around, noticing cats were starting to awaken.
