He was surprised by her offer to help but did his best not to look it. "Thanks." He managed to reply before picking up his own prey in his mouth and indicating that they could leave for camp now that he was ready. His jaw ached at how much prey he had to carry and wondered if Jayfeather was having the same problem considering they had a similar amount of prey to carry. Normally he would ask if the load was too much for another cat but with his mouth full of prey, he found no point in asking.

"They really are." She responded to her mate. "I think we're ready to get back to camp now." She added, taking Sweetkit by the scruff and standing up, a little wobbly. She turned to Duskbracken and indicated that he should take Dawnkit so that they could head to camp and take their kits to the warm nursery as apposed to staying out here where it could get colder.

She nodded in understanding as Shatterpaw left her to got to Duskbracken. Staring at the herb in front of her she wondered what they were and what they did. She guessed that she had to eat them since Shatteredpaw hadn't really had the time to explain how it works or what it really does, but she trusts Shatterpaw and ended up eating the herb. The herb left a funny taste in her mouth and she screwed up her nose at the taste. However she noticed the effects almost immediately. Already she was becoming less worried and more calm with every heartbeat that passed. Grateful that the herb had worked she curled up once more and went to sleep again, ready for this day to end. He let Jayflower take the lead, not wanting to annoy the she-cat further. It was a little difficult at first with the uneasy rhythm between them but it eventually settled to a somewhat silent agreement between them. The stubborn part of him wanted him to lead, but he knew better than to listen to it. He knew that Jayflower was pretty similar to him in that respect and should he try and argue, it would probably lead to a fight and he did not want that at all.

She followed Shatteredpaw back to camp, thankful for the slower pace as she had yet to fully recover from the kitting. Now she was really tempted to have more in the future, they were just that adorable.

JayFlower led them to the camp, tapping TigerPelt's side once more with her tail to let him know that she's going to lead them to the fresh kill pile to drop off the prey.
