Valleypaw spat on the ground, "NOW!" A rustling in the bracken up ahead made him freeze. He tasted the air, but only scented the forest. "Something's coming," he whispered under his breath.

Mysticpaw froze too. "We should go back to camp. It doesn't feel safe here anymore."

"Then let's go," Firepaw mewed.

She felt tired after the kits sleep,so went to sleep

Mysticpaw nodded and ran towards the camp. She could smell nothing but the forest, no cat or animal smell anywhere.

Valleypaw raced alongside his sister, belly fur brushing the grass.

Dappleleaf looked at creamfoot and mewed,"Your a veary skilled fighter. I hope you never get hurt badly." and sat near him. She wondered if they were done.

Dappleleaf noded and said,"This wasn't my first choice as you may already know." in a sad tone. She looked at her crooked back leg and thought, darn tree!

"What happened, anyway, I've never heard the story..." Creamfoot asked, and his eyes flashed in wonder.

Dappleleaf said,"Realy? Well.." and thought of all the details. She got her story strait and mewed,"I was a warriors apprentice. Echostars actually, but thats when he was Echosong. We were training one day and it started to storm rather fearcley. He wanted to head back as he saw lightning. I said "No I want to get this move right!" and continued to practice." she paused as the memory filled her eyes. She continued,"The lightning came so fast and all of a suden I was stuck under a tree. My leg was in alot of pain and I was young and stupid." she looked at creamfoot with painfilled eyes."Rockypath was passing through and echostar called him over to help. He fixed my leg but it was too misshapen to fully heal right. Bramblestar decided the best thing to do was be a medacin cat apprentice so I still helped the clan." she ended the story and looked back up at creamfoot.
