Serenity sighed, looking away from Otis. "Yeah, I'm not feeling so great, either..." she replied. She wondered if he too was thinking about the problem that Xyil had now become. Even though she had tried not to show it, Serenity had noticed how Xyil had just made a show in moving far away from her, but thought it was just best to ignore her. If she wanted to play childish games, Serenity would stay far away from her.

"I...felt that I had no choice," Jade began quietly. "Wind was clearly going to die, and I don't even know how he made it over to their territory in the first place. I tried to help him myself, but I'm no medicine lion, and I couldn't just sit back and do nothing. I did what I had to, even though it was wrong and caused a lot of trouble." She looked up at Cleo, grateful that he had been so understanding.

The two hyenas continued their hunt, intent on the cubs that took no notice of them. Ari batted his sister back, laughing as he answered her, "I won fairly and you know it!" He continued to play-fight, enjoying the time they had together away from their parents. The hyenas had entered Kalar territory.

Xyli glared at the lions, just the sight of them making her lip curl. she hissed softly and got back up to walk over to the watering hole, thirsty and not wanting to be anywhere near Serenity.

Wind finally entered camp once more, his injury surprisingly feeling better after the long wolk home. He wondered where Jade was, then realized that she still must be out with Cleo.

Kane noticed that Skye and Ari were still out playing, and became slightly worried. He called Lyon over to him and asked, "Would you mind checking on Ari and Skye to make sure that they're alright? It will get dark soon anyway, so they should probably come home. They're off playing by the water hole." Lyon nodded, grateful for something to do. "Sure thing, Kane!" he answered, and raced off.

Xyli walked along the border with the Tsars, feeling tired and sad. was it wrong to want what was best for your pride? apparantly! she sighed and lay down by an overhanging tree near the border, closing her eyes, glad to be alone.

Tired of waiting around for Jade, Wind decided to go hunting. He hadn't had much excitement for a while. He wasn't sure if he would actually catch anything, but it was worth a try. He slowly got to his feet and headed off to the hunting grounds.

Xyli slept by the tree, she was to tense around the other lions, even in her own pride! she didnt feel safe around them anymore. her white pelt dimmed in the shade of the tree, her curled up body hard to see from afar.

Wind walked carefully through the unfamilliar territory that was now his home. Suddenly, he caught the scent of a zabra herd not too far away. His body naturally fell into a crouch as he crept up on the herd. Wind carefully selected his target, then sprang, surprised but happy that he was able to run, even if he was a bit slower then he was before. The zebra he was chasing was quicker, though, and as it made a sharp turn, Wind stumbled and fell, therefore giving the zebra time to escape.
Wind rolled over and shook his head, embarrased. I'm glad no one was around to see that, he thought to himself, and was about to get up when he saw something that made him stop in his tracks. There, sleeping under a tree, was a lioness that was clearly not from his pride.

Xyli slept near the border, but when a zebra brayed and ran past her, she opened her eyes just in time to see it run off deeper into Saber territory. she yawned and stood, feeling a bit sad still. As she looked around she saw a lion, THE lion! this was the lion that had caused all the trouble! she remembered him lying at her feet! she blinked in surprise, speechless for once. glancing at her paws ahd noted she was still of Saber territory, but barely. She didnt step back though, wondering what he would say.

Wind, still very unfamilliar with the borders here, wondered if he had accidently strayed into enemy territory. He got to his feet and stepped back as the lioness awoke, his whole body tense. "I'm sorry if I crossed any borders," he stammered, bewildered.

Xyli blinked in confusion and narrowed her eyes, "Oh, no, you didnt," she mewed, looking at him curiously. "you must be new here if you dont even know where the borders are," she sighed, still to tired to argue with someone after all that had happened. "Who are you?" she asked, looking the big lion up and down.
