Nikki grabbed onto a leg and tried to pull it moving it little by little But not really getting anywhere

Zyli purred in amusement and smiled, but it looked kind of scary since her fangs were covered in blood and her eyes were deadly slits still

nikki looked up at xyli"xyli do you know when me and kefir will be apprentices?" she asked curiously

Xyli looked down at the little cub, she shook her white head, "no, ask Tia, or Otis or Jinx," she mewed, dragging the animal up the steep slope back to camp.

"its taking so long."nikki said grabbing a leg and pulling

Xyli laughed, a bit darkly as she was still furious at the lions. but she managed to drag the carcass back to camp. she dumped it there, breathing hard, and lying down in camp, closing her eyes.

Wind struggled, as best he could, to his feet and began the long trek back to his new home. His leg was healing nicely, but it still hurt to put weight on it. Suddenly, a sharp pain shot up his leg and he stumbled and fell into the dust. He glanced down at his injury and realized that it would leave a huge scar. He sighed, closing his eyes. Well, I suppose it's for the best, he thought. I don't ever want to forget the reason I was injured in the first place... Determined, he got to his feet once more and limped slowly, but surely, towards home.

Jade glanced back towards the Tsar border with the Sabers once more. She wondered what had become of Serenity, and hoped that her punishment wasn't too severe. Now that I think anout it, she thought, Cleo hasn't said a word to me about what happened yet, and I'm sure he knows...is he angry with me? she wondered, glancing up at her mate.

Serenity felt better now that she had been left alone. However, too much time alone was never a good thing, and she was sure that her skills were needed back at camp. As she started back, she noticed Otis just ahead of her, thinking. She tilted her head and wondered what was troubling him. "Otis," she greeted her leader softly, sitting down beside him. "Is there something wrong?"

Ari had reached the watering hole just seconds before Skye, and he shouted, "I'm the winner!" and turned to face his sister, grinning. He pounced on her playfully, not noticing that his shouts had attracted the attention of 2 hyenas who were also having a drink. The wolf-like creatures were technically on the very edge of Saber territory, but the hyenas were not bound by the lion territories. They saw the two cubs as an easy target, and crouched low to the ground, beginning their attack. The two playful cubs had no idea they were being watched.

Xyli was resting in camp, when she saw Serenity walk towards the camp with Otic. she hissed, baring her teeth at her and got up to sit at the opposite side of camp, not wanting to be anywhere near that traitor.

Skye giggled and swatted at her brother, letting out a soft huff when he pounced on her. She flicked her tail, "No fair! You cheated" she said teasing, even though she knew he'd won fair and square. She giggled and batted at him with seathed paws, not noticing the trouble that lay in store for them.

Otis turned his head, in almost a dream like daze. He nodded to Serenity, "Yes" he murmered, flicking his tail and looking back over the boarder. He wonderde if he'd done the right hting, allowing the two Tsar lions to leave unscathed. It was true that they hadn't been a threat to the pride in any way, one of them couldn't even stand properly. He could understand both Serenity's and Xyli's feelings about it, Serenity was a Medicine lion, itwas her duty to look after and heal those who needed her, and the Tsar lions had needed her at the time. Yet the fact that they'd come here in the first place had annoyed him, blaitantly showing their weakness and walking over onto their territory as if they owned it! He couldn't blame either lioness for feeling angry if he was honest with himself, yet Xyli seemed to bring out the worst in him. He thought back to when she'd first joined, she'd been so much nicer and more gentle, and now..she just seemed intent on hurting other lions.

Cleo padded next to Jade silently, his powerfull head tilted upwards to look at the midday sky. He let out the smallest of sighs and turned his head back to look at his mate, wondering how to bring up the subject. He saw no reason to be angry, just angry at those furrball lionesses from the Sabers. He gave Jade a soft smile and nudged her gently with his head, "So..why did you go over to them in the first place?" he asked calmly.

Xyli grommed herself in the corner of camp, her spirits low even after her succesful hunt. the argument about the Tsar lions was really bothering her. they should have faught them. she knew that. but not only had Seren made them look weak, but Xyli had lost her friend, and Otis still hated her for no reason. she sighed, her eyes closed with fatigue and sadness.
