Xyli glared at Seren. she was to kind to these pests. they were beneath them, the Tsars were weak, and must face the consequences, she thought stonily. they could not just waltz over the border whenever they felt like it! and although she knew it would kill their friendship, Xyli thought bitterly that she didnt need her healers permission to attack these interlopers. she gave a glance towards Lexi, wondering if she would be with her on this idea silently

Lexi looked at Xyli and frowned"you should leave their problems alone."she said and thought back to when xyli went into other territories to get help when lexi was going to have her cubs but that was the past this was now.

Xyli nodded, "this isnt any of our concern. they can handle without us, and if they cant, their loss." she growled, her yellow eyes icy. she remembered when she was looking for healers on the other lands, but she hadnt found one, and they had managed. besides, she thought, if she was cought, she would have faced the consequences, not tried to back out and have someone else from another pride stick up for her like she was a cub!1

Lexi unsceathed her claws"what if jix and otis found out they would kill you."she said

Xyli sighed, "jut let them go, Seren. if you dont a war might wage, you know." she hissed, deciding to appeal to her kindness. as much as Xyli wanted to shred these lions, her friendship was more important, and she wanted to salvage it if she could

lexi looked at Xyli and frowned she twitched her tail and padded off

Serenity glared at Xyil coldly as Jade stood protectively over Wind. "You would attack this defensless lion? He isn't even consious!" Jade snarled, lashing her tail angerly. "I admit that the Tsars are weaker than the Sabers, a cub could see that. But you wanting to attack him when he can't even defend himself shows just what type of lions the Sabers are: cold, heartless monsters!"
Serenity watched as Jade spoke, saying nothing. Finally, she flicked her tail and said, "Do what you want, Xyil. Jade and Wind are no threat to me, and therefore I have no reason to attack them. I have made my choice: I will help them. However, if you attack them and they wound you, I will not heal you." She stared at Xyil coldly. "I want to remain you friend, but this is not worth a war."

Wind opened his eyes once more, and saw that Jade was standing over him. What's going on? he wondered, dazed...

Xyli lashed her tail, "you would choose these lions over your own pride." she hissed softly, her eyes cold and narrowed, "why should i stand here idle? Jade is just as capable to slice our throats as we are hers." she snarled, glaring at the lion, "and i know that if they had any pride they wouldnt be coming here and letting you Serenity, a Saber, stick up for their scrawny hides!" she showed her teeth and prepared herself to jump at the lioness....

Cleo opened his eyes and blinked. He looked around him, confused, the comforting scents of Jade were gone. He was instantly alert. He jumped up, his nose to the ground as he followed Jade's scent, it was mixed up with that scent of the lion Jade had found. He traced it all the way to the boarder, his eyes narrowed when he realised they must of crossed the Saber's boarder. He let out a fustrated growl and lashed his tail, anyhting could of happened to them by now! And all he'd been doing was sleeping. He bared his teeth as he paced along the boarder, silently debating if he should cross.

"Xyil, I'm not defending them, I'm simply helping them. After this lion is healed, I'm coming right back to the Sabers and probably never speaking to them again. That's all," Serenity said calmly.
"I didn't ask her to stick up for me!" Jade snarled, her fur bristling. She was not some defensless cub; she was a leader! Suddenly, she stopped when WInd looked up at her. "Serenity, he's awake!" she said.
"Can you stand?" Serenity gently asked Wind.
