"I'm sure Mintwhisker is happy. He really loves you you know?" Suntail purred.

Roseheart purred. "I love him very much, and I'm sure he'll be a wonderful father." She sat up and watched the entrance.

"Of course," hissed Nightshade quietly. "Follow me, and don't make any noise." She crept forwards, keeping her pawsteps light so as not to rustle the leaves. Any noise that could be heard would be attributed to the light breeze, and it was blowing towards her. A perfect night to kill. Her eyes flicked up to the sky. The sun was slowly rising- being on a ridge, the Infernoclan camp would be waking up, as the sun had already risen there. "We need to make this fast," she told Rubykit. "Before somebody comes looking for him, or the Dawn Patrol is sent out."

Rubykit nodded seriously, her gaze focused on Nightshade.

"Alright," said Nightshade. "I'm going to show you how this works. As soon as I jump down, you come down behind me, but stay in the shadows. I can't have a clan cat injure my apprentice, although I must say, you show a lot of promise. If he comes nearby, take the opportunity and attack him from behind." Without waiting for a reply she jumped down to a branch that was just above Mintwhisker's head. She chuckled, a terrible, hissing laugh. "Mintwhisker, darling," she purred. Then she thrust her head lower, out of the shadows, so her eyes flashed blood-red and her bared fangs shone white. "We've been waiting for you."

Splashclaw walked out of the den and headed towards Suntail and Roseheart. "Good morning." he mewed.

"Good morning Splashclaw." Rosheart purred.

Suntail nodded, "Morning."

Mintwhisker jumped, "Waiting for me?" He asked, confused.

"Oh, yes," laughed Nightshade. "You know, it would be such a shame if a pretty she-cat went missing from camp. Especially one so close to bearing kits." She laughed evilly. "I think you would know her if you saw her- silver tabby? Pink nose? Lovely green eyes?"
