Bramblestar padded out of her den, stretching into the sunlight. He ears flicked forward when she heard the mention of her name tumble out of her brother's mouth. The she-cat trotted over to where a small group had gathered, their chatter low in volume but the leader could sense something was wrong. "I heard my name, is something wrong?" She asked, addressing mainly Tanglebelly, but any cat could chime in.

the deputy glanced over as bramblestar approached, and gave a relieved sigh at the sight of her. "applepaw is missing. not a single cat has seen a hair or whisker of him." He murmured.

Heronkit smiled. "Do you guys need any help?" She asked, clearly eager to help with anything. "Dovekit is busy," she explained.

FireFeather woke up with a stretch. He noticed a good number of his Denmates were already awake, And not just for the purpose of a Dawn patrol. He padded out of the den, blinking his eyes against the sunlight. Looking around the clearing, he instantly noticed the gathering of cats in the middle of the clearing. He decided first he would grab a small fish for the morning, and then go join the others.
“Good morning.” He greeted the cats and cling to the outside of the group, not knowing if the conversation was personal or if he was welcome to just jump in.
Was this a report for the dawn patrol? Had ShadowClan or WindClan crossed one of their borders? He huffed at the thought of the flea-pelts.

“Firefeather!” she called out to her mate as he came out of the den, “Applepaw is missing! No one has seen him! We are going out to find him now, want to come?”

(Applepaw would be waiting for those he loved in Starclan, for according to the kill that’s where he would “one day be spotted... awaiting the arrival of ones he loved,”. Sunnypaw is one of his sibling that he could be waiting for. His kithood wasn’t too long ago either, so I feel like it would make sense that he would be dreaming about that. Also, he probably would immediately know that the young tom was his brother, versus if it was his sister, because she wouldn’t know which brother wouldn’t be at camp.)

Yellowgaze looked towards the amount of cats now forming, and as he overheard everyone's confusion regarding applepaw, he knew something was wrong.

Breezefire looked at Heronkit for a few seconds. "The herbs are very disorganized right now... if you want to, you can help us with that!" she smiled at the kit. They're always so cute when they're young. "Assuming Eelskip is ok with that, of course." the she-cat looked at her apprentice.

FireFeathers ears pricked when DawnPetal mentioned ApplePaws disappearance. “He’s gone?” He paused, thinking of any reason why he might be home. Dirtplace, hunting alone, etc. but all of them weren’t like him, especially if his Clanmates had been awake for so long. “I’ll search the whole forest if I must!” He lashes his tail and felt his fur rise. “I wonder if he was taken hostage by one of those mangy ShadowClan cats...”

Scarface let Heronkit run off with a smile. He then went and grabbed a trout to eat, hovering on the edge of others conversations. Something to do with Applepaw?
