Meeting Saltstars gaze she got up and walked over to highbranch when she heard Saltstar call her name she felt nervous and jittery inside this was her first apprentice and she wanted to do good but she didn't let her nerves show as she gave a nod to Saltstar before leaning in to touch her apprentice's nose as she was she whispered a "hi" to bluepaw and gave her a little smile

Bluepaw would pad slowly up to Feather as she lightly touched Feather's shoulder with her nose. Even to herself, she was surprisingly capable of hiding her excitement. At last as she walked back to her mother, she accidently yelped out a "Yay!"

Redkit would slowly walk up to Saltstar. Ooh..... I wonder who my mentor will be.....? Redkit thought as he looked up at Saltstar.

Okay.. Lionkit thought, still not fully convinced. She tried to put herself back in the game, though, and mewed,

She couldn't shake the feeling something might be wrong, though.

Flicker nodded and padded cautiously toward the twoleg table. She watched the twolegs closely as they threw the fish scraps toward the tray on the dock. A few cats were eating the fish from the tray, while others were scavenging the pieces that littered the ground around the tray.
A piece fell near Flicker, and she darted toward it hoping she could get it before another cat scratched it from her.

Cinder watches Flicker dive for the scrap of fish as she waits patiently for her own piece. Soon, a piece falls nearby and she leaps at it, hissing at any cat who tried to snatch it from her. She sinks her teeth into the soft flesh of the fish, it was delicious! All thoughts of the encounter with the shecat fade away as she finishes her fish piece and once again, waits for more.
