โASPENCLOUD caught the obvious concern in Graymist's brilliant eyes as their leader approached. The deputy made a note to have Bramblewhisker attend to Swiftstar as soon as the introductions were over. Remaining quiet, the only tell of emotion was a small smile and a twinkle in his amber gaze as the two she-cats were welcomed warmly into the clan. The newest additions would surely prove to be a priceless asset to the dwindling clan. At the mention of Pebblepelt's body, his smile vanished and he nodded curtly. Stepping forward as the small crowd dispersed, he turned to fully face his dearest friend. "Would you mind burying him with me? I think it's more than he deserves, but we can't risk any predators." he mused, offering the gray she-cat a soft gaze. For a moment the black tom glanced over his shoulder at the cluster of apprentices, deciding it would be best to break up any potential mischief and put them to good use. "Swallowpaw! Sandpaw! Why don't you two give our newest members a tour and hep them build nests. You can socialize later." he called out.

โCROWPAW looked towards Runningpaw with only his eyes, afraid to move his head and neck too much. The perceptive apprentice caught her flinch with his murky green eyes. Guilt washed over him at her obvious shock and discomfort at the sight of him. The large dar tabby offered her a small smile accompanied by a meager shrug. "I wouldn't worry too much Runningpaw, it's just my throat. Nothing important." he joked lightly, his voice hoarse and croaky. The maine coon was trying his best to be a model patient, but the discomfort and lengthy process would inevitably get the better of him.

โBIRCHPAW felt her ears fall flat against her skull, not so keen on insults being hurled so nonchalantly about her clan. "You have all of the land outside of our territory to hunt, and I know there's plenty of it out there in the world. If you're so desperate for food, why haven't you considered the possibility of joining Airclan then? We provide for one another and protect our own." she retorted with a snort. If they'd run into clans so many times before, why hadn't the old saying rang true? If you can't beat them, join them. The pale gray apprentice was unperturbed by Robin's glare, merely rolling her blue eyes at the childish she-cat. "If you're just passing through, however, I suggest you kindly find your way out. Now." she reiterated, a note of finality in her voice. The prey in Airclan territory was already scarce enough due to leafbare, they didn't need anymore mouths to compete with.

โLARK smiled proudly at the obvious affection that Swiftstar felt for Crowpaw. It was clear that this group of cats truly appreciated one another, and the chocolate she-cat was more than ready to settle down in a permanent home where she could be of use and was valued. Though still young, she'd grown quite weary from moons of travel and surviving with the bare minimum. The praise placed upon the brother she had yet to properly meet was inspiring, and she would quickly strive to have the clan cats view her in the same light. Ignoring the leader's obvious signs of weakness and fatigue, Lark dipped her head in acknowledgment. "Whenever you're ready, we will be prepared." she promised strongly, grateful for the offer of a meal as her stomach reminded her just how hollow it was. As respectfully as she could, the young she-cat bowed out and slipped towards the meager pile of prey.

โCRICKET fell silent once more, simply respectfully absorbing all of the information Swiftstar provided her with as she keenly observed the order of the clan. A very friendly and relationship oriented cat, the pretty tabico was more than willing to hastily accept an offer of permanency, especially in a place where she could get to know her kin. It was obvious that their small meeting had come to a close as the black and white she-cat requested that the black tom Aspencloud discard of the body. Taking that as her cue, the slightly smaller she-cat trailed after Lark, her golden eyes glancing this way and that with unbridled interest. Her attention soon fell to a small cluster of cats about their age, who she assumed were apprentices.
