The day went quickly to Parsley. Soon the bright sky had turned an ash-gray, and dusk was falling. At midnight their plan would unfold, but worry knotted in Parsley's stomach. What if they failed? She tried to keep her mind off it, but she knew she couldn't fight very well. She had not told anyone, but she too was expecting Storm's foal. She hated herself for it, but Storm had pretty much forced it on her, and she was to be lead mare- in his eyes. Parsley trotted around nervously, watching the breaking moon.

"Hey Shadow!" Brook winnied and flipped her mane around. Her black horn cought the sunlight and shone.

Willow smiled and nuzzled him.
