Emberfang sat there as Nightfoot quickly checked to make sure nothing was on his paws. When he was done he turned and started speaking to her. She turned to look at him and replied "Ravenheart and I have been doing okay. Ravenheart's still a bit of a grouch though. A bit less of one since he started training his apprentice, I think it's been good for him to have to speak to someone other than me pretty much every day. It makes me happy to see him get out of his shell a little." She smiled at the thought of Ravenheart finally making friends. "Oh I'm sorry I can go off on tangents sometimes when it comes to my brother." She looked down at her paws a little embarrassed for being a little too much of a proud mother when it came to Ravenheart.

Ravenheart looked down at his young apprentice, smiling at her hopeful expression. "Of course we can all train together. I could use some extra eyes to keep track of you." He nudged her jokingly before turning to Frostfur. "What do you think we should do today? I had originally planned for some hunting practice but I'm up for anything."

Frostfur jumped at Ravenheart abruptly startled him, his entire body becoming very puffy. He calmed down, just realizing s presence. "Ah! You are one sneaky cat, honestly..." The silver tom laughed out. He listened to the two, then nodded his in acknowledgment. "I'm stuck between battle two versus two or a hunting challenge... What would you three pick?"

"newtpaw's been an apprentice a lot longer than me, but i guess i could learn a lot from her either way." she flicked her tail. "Hmmm, it's true we went out hunting last time. It might be good to get you some fighting training. I'm up for either at this point, it really just depends on what Newtpaw thinks I guess. But whatever you decide I'm ready to go stretch my legs and feel the soft forest floor beneath my paws." He kneads the ground with his claws and his tail twitched with impatience.

Ruby crawled out of her luxurious bed, stretching her claws out. Kneading the cushions, she looked around her home, looking for something to do. A beam of sunlight flickers out among the ruffling curtains, catching her attention. Ooh, I think I'll go and explore the forest today! Rushing to the cat flap, Ruby pushed her way through and quickly hopped over the fence, her focus only on the pines ahead. Her collar jingled rhythmically with every step she took. Tasting the air, Ruby could pick up the strange scents of mice and birds among the trees. Noticing the leaves moving near an acorn tree, she crouched down and sprang at the creature, her bell ringing loudly throughout the forest. "Mouse dung!" She spat as she watched the vole scuttle away under some ferns. "Maybe next time," she muttered to herself as she continued padding through the forest, the bell on her collar still rattling away.

Blinking open her yellow eyes, Pepper reluctantly stood up from her resting spot on a flat rock in the woods. Craning her neck towards the sky, she scanned through the trees to find out what time it was. "It must be around sunhigh..." she mumbled to herself. Hearing her stomach growl with hunger reminds her that she had not eaten since yesterday evening. Parting her jaws, she took in the scents of the pines, the musty earth, and... mouse! Perfect. Crouching down, Pepper tip-toed toward where the rodent scuffled among the pine needles. Seconds later, she sprung and landed just a mouse-length away, but quickly reached out and trapped the mouse in her claws before it could escape. "That was close..." she muttered to herself as she settled down, feasting on her fresh catch.

Nightfoot chuckled as Emberfang apologized for being concerned about her brother, thinking about he would do the same thing when he and Firestrike were younger. "That's alright. It's sweet that you care so much about him," He stated, a gentle smile still visible on the tom's face. "Firestrike recently got an apprentice as well. I'm happy for him and all, but I'm really hoping he doesn't try setting up anything too risky." He let his gaze wander for a bit and after a moment stood up. "Maybe we should ask some other cats if they want to join us on a patrol? After all, this is taking a long time," He didn't actually feel like it had been all that long, but he itched for something to do other than just sitting around and talking.

Upon his apprentice's confirmation that she was ready to give another shot, the tabby tom began stalking around for prey again, keeping an ear out for anything scrambling in the leaves. Nothing caught his attention, so he decided to head out further from their spot, and was disappointed when he couldn't find anything. Darn it, how far out do we have to go? I didn't want to take Woodenpaw out so far on her first day, but perhaps we could find something closer to the borders? Standing back up from his crouch, Firestrike called back to Woodenpaw. "Hey Woodenpaw, we're gonna head over to the borders for hunting. I don't think we'll find much else over here." Without waiting for a response he padded away from their practice area.

Whitefang woke up to the sun hitting him in the face. He hissed in annoyance, trying to cover his eyes with his tail before he woke up fully, realizing that the warmth of the morning was seeping into his pelt. He groaned and opened his eyes,
squinting around before slowly standing up and stretching, parting his jaws for a long yawn. He could feel his bones groaning in protest the longer he stretched, but he ignored it until the pain somewhat seemed to fade. Then he padded out of the warrior's den,
giving a glance around camp as he decided what to do. Patrolling was usually his preferred activity; the chance of catching someone trespassing in his claws always excited him. His claws slid out and dug into the dirt just at the thought of it. After a moment he shook his head and retracted his claws, clearing his expression of the rather murderous look. In time, all in time.

She was geing sleeping way too good that she was very confused when she waked up and feeled little dizzy too. Standing up she shaked her pelt and walked out of the Warriors den. She looked the clearning, curious to see what the others was doing there, yawning she started to groom her golden pelt.
