Emberfang woke from her cat nap, stretching each leg in turn. I should go out hunting, I haven't done anything yet today and It will be nice to hunt in this weather. Maybe I'll even be able to catch something large like a rabbit, or even a fish. Fish is really tasty, it would be great if I could bring one back plus an extra for me. She thinks as she walks out of the den. Yawning she walked straight into Nightfoot. "Ah. Nightfoot I'm sorry. I was a bit distracted."

Ravenheart is woken up by his sister moving from her spot beside him, plus her stretching caused her to kick him in the face. Grumbling Ravenheart shakes the moss from his pelt and yawns. I guess I should go wake up Mothpaw for some training. I wonder what we should we do today. Maybe go out the the grassy field and practice some fighting, or should we do some hunting. I guess hunting would probably be better. Plus it will build up the fresh kill pile. Stepping out of the den he spots Mothpaw talking to Frostfur and Newtpaw. "Hey Mothpaw you ready to practice your hunting? Hello Frostfur, Newtpaw." He nods to Frostfur and Newtpaw before turning back to Mothpaw.

Wisteriapaw

Wisteriapaw nodded, getting into the best hunting stance he could with his twisted paw. "I-Is this ok?" He stammered, trying to make his mentor proud. "I-I know I'm not the best apprentice when it comes to certain things... B-But, I'll try and do my best!" Wisteriapaw looked up at his mentor for acceptance.

Mooncloud

Mooncloud sat in her nest, grooming herself while keeping a close eye on her brother, Stormcloud. He had only recently woken up and he was always a grouchy first thing in the morning. She gently bathed in the morning glow of new-leaf, feeling the warmth on her golden pelt.

Stormcloud

Stormcloud lay awake. He gave a big yawn and licked down some of his chest fur. He glanced over at his sister and smiled softly.

Blackear stared at his apprentice for a few moments, his stare boring into her. It was obvious he didn't quite believe her, but he didn't press her further. He stood up, shaking his pelt out and giving a nice good, long stretch. "Good then, it's best to not waste time. If you're so keen to patrol, we'll join one later tonight. But for now, we have battle training." He picked up the remains of his mouse and went to bury then. When he came back he gave a final stretch, willing the tiredness in his muscles to seep away before padding towards the camp's tunnel entrance. "Are you ready to go?"

Nightfoot had just finished fixing up his fur and began to head into the center of camp when Emberfang walked into him. He lost his balance for a moment, but stayed standing. "Oh, that's alright Emberfang. Might I ask by what?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. He readjusted his stance so that he was actually facing his clanmate, and spoke again. "I was waiting to see if there was a patrol to join."

"Sure thing!" Firestrike confirmed, though it seemed that Woodenpaw was already prepared. He backed up from the spot so he didn't get in his apprentice's way, watching to see what she would do. It was interesting to him, Woodenpaw was so eager to learn and improve, and this was only her first day training! He smiled to himself, proud to have such a promising apprentice. He would make her the best warrior Pineclan would ever see!

The silver Tabby's tail twitched in a little bit of worry, yet happily for the two females. Valerianpaw was her sister's name... Right? The molly that was obsessed with herself? His eyes slightly narrowed into slits. He did hesitate, but looked towards the apprentice den to make sure the coast was clear before simply leaning down to Newtpaw and whispered, " Your sister is obsessed with herself right? Well, I'd tell her this, If she ever wants to find a mate in the future, she has to drop that. Males don't like that, and females often get the urge to ruin those looks like that." He flicked his ears, shrugged and shook his head before glancing to Mothpaw. "Welp... At least I can relate to you, Mothpaw. Heh..." The tom twitched his ears down, looked at his paws, and shuffled them in the dirt/grass. He probably stayed quiet for a moment before looking at the two. "If you want, Newtpaw, I can wait for Mothpaws mentor and the four of us can go train together. Sound fair?" He'd prefer to always let his apprentice pick a topic to train on.

"Yup! I ate two right when I woke up! I'm ready to turn that into muscle!" He stretched almost sassily, a harmless playful, yet determined grin on his face. He began to say something else, but decided not to, ears flicking forward.

The apprentice nodded to her mentor in thanks and got into a hunters' crouch. She crept towards the prey-dummy, silently, then pounced. She slightly landed on the dummy, pushing it. "I got it, still!" Woodenpaw half murmured to Firestrike, half to herself as she made another leap on top of the stick-mouse. It burst into pieces, satisfying Woodenpaw. "Was that good enough?" She asked her mentor, looking at him with bright eyes.

She looked down embarrassed "Well I just woke from a nap, and well I was yawning not paying much attention to where I was going. I'm sorry about that." , She looked back up at Nightfoot, "Ah, You said you were seeing if there was a Patrol you could join? Would you mind if I waited with you as well? I had planned on just going hunting alone but, well, in all honesty, I could use some company other than myself or my brother." She chuckles at the last part taking a seat beside Nightfoot.

He looked between the two apprentices and Frostfur. "What am I? Chopped liver? Well, I can't be that you would actually notice copped liver. I mean I'd be happy if we all trained together but I would like some acknowledgment that you realized I just walked over and said hi at the very least." Ravenheart said a bit upset none of them had noticed his arrival earlier. I guess I really do blend in everywhere just as Emberfang said, even when I'm right in front of people!

"oh, ravenheart! i'm so sorry, i thought you were still sleeping. i swear i double checked the camp before talking to newtpaw. i guess you weren't up then," she shuffled her paws guiltily, and then her expression cleared into a hopeful one. Nightfoot looked at Emberfang and gave a quick smile. "That's alright. You just surprised me a bit," He stopped and listened to what she said and sat down as well. "I wouldn't mind at all. Having company on a trip is always nice, and I did a bit of hunting alone earlier anyways." At the mention of that he began washing his paws, making sure he hadn't left any dirt or blood on them from the hunting. After that, he turned back to Emberfang, perking his ears forwards. "Have you and Ravenheart been doing alright lately? This past leaf bare was rather rough,"

Firestrike watched closely at Woodenpaw's performance, paying close attention as to whether he could hear anything or not. Impressively, he didn't hear a sound, and he had to stop himself from appearing startled when she caused the dummy to burst apart. He turned to his apprentice, a look of pride in his eyes. "Good enough? That was amazing Woodenpaw!" He walked over next to her once again, before inviting, "Ready to give hunting another shot?"
