Her conclusions, theories, and explanations all had the same rushed and grief-stricken explanation. The clan cats had killed her, didn't they? They still refused to forgive her for apparently killing Slyshade. How could it have possibly of been her fault? Her ears pinned to her head as anticipation to know the answer pleaded through her mentally. After a moment, she turned back to Crowpaw, her gaze making the sudden and surprising hangs to horror. .:{+}:. ' 'Did you ever blame Aquapaw for Slyshade's death?' '.:{+}:. It wasn't the first time she asked a cat that, but she yearned for the comfort of a conclusion. That way, she could avenge her young friend's death.

A long, still fresh scar ran vertical across from the fragile organ. She winced as pain seared through it. She had been lost in thought as her mind ran over and over again over the lost battle. She still couldn't believe it. She hadn't lost a battle since- no. She mustn't think of that. She would never forgive herself for the day she let her campmates die, and how she had ran away like a coward. She shivered. She's changed. She was pulled from her thoughts as an agonized yowl disrupted her. She tipped her ears forward, listening closer to where it was coming from. It sounded again. She padded after it, ignoring her pain as the familiar bloodthirsty malice returned to her ambitions. As she padded onward, she eventually came to a clearing of trees near twoleg pace revealing a kitting queen. She swiped her tongue over her lips, a plan coming to mind. It had been rare for a queen to be stuck in the open, vulnerable to dogs or foxes..Or Fox, in this case. The Calico she cat crouched in the grass, biting her under lip as pain ached through her. She must dare make a sound. She crawled forward slowly, careful not to make a noise. .:{+}:.
.:{+}:. At last, Fox had come close enough unnoticed to be able to attack her 'prey'. Without any word, she silently leapt from the tall growing grass, right in front of the kitting queen. She relished any sort of emotion radiating off the soft she cat. After a minute, she tipped her head, ringing a creepily soft voice to the air. .:{+}:.' 'Oh, don't worry. I won't kill you both...yet. I need to wait until Your kits are born. That way, they'll know what being alive is. And know what death is.' '.:{+}:. She sat near the queen, as if posing no threat. She swiveledher ears as she stayed on guard for any cat likely to attack. Her mouth widened in a eerie sweet grin as she waited for the first kit to come.

Because he was carrying the rabbit, It took Scorch a while to get in the elder's den. Comepletely forgetting about Foxpaw, he dipped his head to Brambleberry. "Hello, Brambleberry. Would you like to share this rabbit with me?" Scorch asked politely

The she-cat walked out of the Apprentice Den with a yawn as she looked around the clearing for someone to talk to or to ask if she could go on any patrols. Remember, have to feed the elders before myself. The calico told herself as she then turned away from the fresh-kill pile.

The she-kit then looked over at who Rosekit called after, her fluffy tail held high in excitement as another kit would join in the fun. "Come on! It'll be fun!" She purred cheerfully.

The elder was about to thank the warrior before she looked up and saw Scorch coming towards her with a rabbit. The elder then dipped her head back before turning to the warrior again. "Thank you for the mouse, Acornfang, although this grump won't admit it, he's thankful for it to." The patched she-cat then slowly stood to her paws and lightly stretched her old bones before moving closer to Scorch. "I hope the cat who caught this is very proud of themselves, look at the size of it." She purred as she looked the rabbit over.

The tom grumbled at Brambleberry before taking the mouse from Acornfang, keeping an eye on his sister and the other elder.
"Yeah, whatever Brambleberry told you." He mumbled, although you could tell by the tone of his voice that he was actually thankful for the mouse the warrior had given him.

Hickorypaw watched Scorch with a narrowed gaze as the tom pushed past Bumblenose and Crowpaw. Usually Hickorypaw would ignore such actions and remain quiet, but for some reason he felt anger boil beneath his fur. The tom had shown no signs of improvement since joining and his arrogant behavior was really bothersome."If I remember correctly your the one thats not clan-born, so wouldn't that make you the kittypet?"he asked casually, a mocking tone in his voice."If I remember correctly, you joined the clan, so why do you suddenly have the rights to put others down? Pity that you can't act more mature."

Twistedface padded into camp, her orange and black fur fluffed up as she gazed around. The wounds she had received from Fox stung, but she would never admit that."Hi Acornfang!"she greeted the tom, making her way over to him."What are you up too?"

He felt scorch shove past them, as he hear what brumblenose to the elder he shuffles his paws. He looks at her with his icy gaze, "brumblenose, how about we go hunting... maybe you can blow off some steam then and maybe explain to me why.... you hate scorch so much..." he meows to her softly trying to calm her down. It was kinda rude for scorch to do that. And he wanted to go talk to him about it but, right now he was going to calm down the she- cat. He flicks his black tail towards her.

Tornthroat nodded at Brambleberry, then whipped around, glaring at Bumblenose. "Well then your leader must have the brain of a vole, because he accepted me, and there is nothing you can do about it" He unsheathed his claws and then turned to Hickorypaw. "I don't think anybody was talking to you,
kitty. And I'm not a kittypet because I never used to belong to an owner. Are you that dumb that you don't know this simple information?" He ruffled up his fur, taking tiny steps towards Bumblenose until he was touching noses with her. "I bet you didn't know I killed Slyshade, did you..?"
