Farlan chuckled and smiled. He wrapped his tail around his paws, making it look like there was a large fire at his feet. He looked at Echo and his eyes dimmed.
"Are you ok, Echo?" he asked.

Farlan sat down close to Echo, his fur giving off heat which he hoped he might be able to comfort her with.
"That's really stupid. The past is the past. He needs to get over that." his eyes flashed.
Why is it I'm always annoyed by all authority figures? he thought. First Daza, now Leon. Who next?
