Crowfur eyed her "The whole world? SHeesh," he teased. "The warriors nest is good enough for me!' he joked.

Blossomtail blushed, purring. "I was always ambitious," she smiled at Crowfur, gently headbutting his shoulder.

Crowfur purred "The only thing I have ever been ambitious for is loyalty, food, and friendship," he said. "And, I have all of those things," he told her. "But do you know who is really ambitous? Darkshade, thats who. She wants leadership really bad," he said matter-of-factly.

Blossomtail raised an eyebrow in disbelief. "Really? Darkshade? I was ambitious to be leader, but you cant have a family if you are a girl leader... Breezetail is as well," she mewed, still confused why Darkshade would want to be a leader, she hated socializing.

Crowfur nodded his blacck head. "Thats all she has ever wanted, all she lives for, thats why she doesn't talk much to other cats, because she only has one thing on her mind," he said. "Darkshade won't let anything, or anyone, get in the way of her leadership. SHe does not want a mate, or kits, no, she has never wanted those things," he shook his head. "She's nice, wise, and loyal, once you get to know her," he smiled. "But she will not be falling for any tom anytime soon, probably never!" he said. "She's a strange one, but I get it, in a way,"

Blossomtail smiled slyly at Crowfur, winking. "You are quite the gossiper, aren't ya?" she purred, rolling her eyes as she leaned against him.

Crowfur smiled "only if it's noce gossip," he said. "I'm not a she-cat, talkin behind everyone's backs," he grinned, to show he was kidding.

Blossomtail's jaw dropped with fake offense. "Well, at least she-cats can tell when another cat likes them," she mewed, laughing. Suddenly she grew serious, closing her eyes. "I like you... you dont have to like me back, Crowfur, I just want you to know," she whispered.

Crowfur's grin dissapeared. Oh! Why does everything have to be so dramatic! Can't I just have a normal life?!!! He thought. "Ohh, well umm, I'm not quite sure what to say, Blossomtail. He knew, deep in his heart, he didn't love her, didn't love Ravencloud, and he wondered if he would ever love any other cat, beside Risingsun or Silverpaw.

Blossomtail covered his mouth, her large eyes fixing on his. "I said you don't have to say anything," she mewed gently, closing her eyes. Rejection. Never have you been rejected- only rejected others. Now you know how Ravencloud always feels.
