Breezetail grinned, but his heart felt torn. Friend. You heard her- best friend.... she does like you back, he thought, but his face showed no faulter.

Brokenfeather bit her lip tightly, it even bled a little. "Um, well, I think, no, I know I like you, more than a friend! I'm just a sissy, afraid to admit it!" she growled, slapping herself.[/i]

Breezetail raised an eyebrow, and purred. "Well, I like you more than a friend as well... but your not a sissy," he mewed, licking her cheek. He straightened, and glanced around him, narrowing his eyes.

Whitefur looked at the medicine cat. "Pearlfeather, what's wrong with me? I have a bad stomach ache, but not from eating." she said.

Icepaw growled at Lionheart. I need to try again! she thought.

She mockingly raised an eyebrow and purred. "Well, I..." she stopped there with a small cute chuckle. "I don't even know what I'm doing!"

Breezetail smiled, and shuffled his paws. "But you are not a sissy. You are a beautiful, talented, funny, interesting and amazing she-cat, who, well, is a wonderful hunter and heart-stealer," he purred, their pelts brushing. He lay down beside her, and rested his on his paws.

Whitefur went over to Rowanpaw. "Rowanpaw, can you see what's wrong with me? My stomach feels sour." she said as she looked at him.

Rowanpaw smiled, but shook his head. "I heard your comment at Pearlfeather.... you are not sick, just anxious. That is the butterfly feeling," he mewed, glancing at Tigerheart and Snowstorm.

"I'm sure toms have been saying that for many moons to she-cats they love." Brokenfeather meowed teasingly, thwacking her tail gently on one of his front legs.
