Pebbleclaw smiled at Mistypaw "lets go catch you a blakbird, and me a rabbit," he purred.

Windkit nodded and stepped on her deputy's tail one last time. "Sure thing!" she called. Starlingflight watched as Windkit, Hickorykit, and Leafkit then followed her out of the nursery, ducking behind things so she wouldn't see them if she turned around. Starlingflight hoisted herself to her paws and followed them at a distance.

Tawnypaw dug a small hole and buried her catch. She'd come back for it when they were done hunting. "Thanks!" she meowed, encouraged by his praise.

Whitefur nodded the started to run. "I haven't been able to hunt in moons!" she exclaimed as she swatted some snow onto Snowstorm. "Haven't been able to do that either." she said as she jumped around in the snow.
