The Street Fights (Stray Dog RP)

Garnet stuck her nose out of a cardboard box and sniffed the cool morning air. The rest of her soon followed. She stretched luxuriously and shook the sleep out her fur. Garnet was a lucky one. Through blood, sweat, and tears she had gained ownership of her alley. The box was her den, at least until it got too soggy to use. The young stray left her meager territory and headed west. She was on good terms with a hot dog vendor who patrolled in that direction.

Mazy padded threw the forest, feeling lost. Knowing she had been threw the forest before, a few years ago, but she coulden't see the surroundings with her eyes. Franticly trying each way attemtipng to get to the plaza with the humans.

Jinx watched the camp as it came to life, the dogs slowly awakening.

-Team Cross-
Catalyst stood and sniffed the air for food. Nothing. He sighed, but he was grateful to be a small dog. He needs less energy. But fights will be soon, and he can't fight starved. His ears pricked up to the sound of tiny feet, and quickly spotted a rat scuttling away as fast as it could. Catalyst was quick to catch it as the rodent carelessly tried to swerve away from him. It was a black rat from the city, one that was sure to carry fleas and diseases. But food is food.

Finding the vendor was easy. The scent of hot dog guided Garnet to him. The human stopped pushing his cart and bared his teeth at her. Garnet wagged her curly tail in response. She knew that humans bare their teeth when they are pleased. He made a circular motion with his finger and Garnet responded to his request. She leaped into the air and flipped over backwards, landing squarely on all four paws. The vendor laughed and tossed her a hot dog. It was a fair trade to both of them. Garnet quickly ate the food and licked the human's hand in thanks. He rubbed his hand down her thickly-furred back. The young stray gently pulled away and wagged her tail as she left the friendly human. He waved his hand at her. It was a ceremony of sorts. A ceremony both were glad of.

The blind dog scented other dogs, making her a little nervous. There were a lot of them. The mutt pushed threw the forest, hopeing she woulden't meet any unhappy territorial dogs. Her tail swayed with her paw steps, and her head still held high. As she trotted along the earth, her dirty colored floppy ears bounced along, and she just looked confident in genral.

~Team Crisis~

Angel excused herself and padded away from Cujo as she smiled. She decided to take a morning walk through the forest, just because she has nothing better to do. She walked off the trail, admiring the scenery around her. She felt peaceful and calm as the sound of the wind rushed through the trees and echoed throughout the forest. Somewhere along her walk, she smelt a strange dog's scent. It didnt smell like Cross, or her own team, so naturally she was suspicious. She still continued along her way, the scent growing strnger with each passing minute. She dozed off, not paying attention to where she was going, so she finally stumbled across a loner. A low growl escaped her mouth as she stared at the dog.
"...Who are you?" She asked, curiousity flooding her words. She gazed at her with caramel colored eyes, waiting for a reply.

Mazy's ears perked up, but with her floppy ears it wasn't much of a diffrences. As for her head, she turned to to the direction of the speaking dog, her dull eyes not meeting hers. "I could ask you the same question." A light laugh danced on her words, added with a smile. The dullcolored mutt blinked at the new dog, scenting she came from one of the packs that she had been scenting while she made her way threw the forest.

Garnet had continued her unending search for food in a part of town she did not often visit. She knew there were more dogs around here and wisely kept to herself. Yet, food was getting harder and harder to come by. For the sake of survival she would have to risk everything once again. The young stray was on edge, she scented other dogs. It would be best to stay away from them. She hastily swerved down an unknown alley to avoid meeting them. Garnet lowered her body and glided along the ground like a shadow. Hopefully the two dogs would not notice her scent and she could avoid them. (Angel and Mazy)
