((I couldn't help but laugh when I read that part where Strike apologizes. *chuckle chuckle* The way you put it is hilarious. =D))

Semper Fi held back a grin and resumed talking to Utau, his spirits raised.

Utau nodded a little, smiling softly "I'll be sure to do that later." she said, a little quiet. Blood still dripped between her eyes from the wound, but the fight had worn her out and she wasnt really in the mood for caring about that for now. She smiled, hearing Strikes words "I wasnt exactly polite either, I also apologize, and I accept your apology. I hope we can be friends." she said, smiling

"Yeah, you guys are probably gonna really like each other. Strike actually has feelings again!" Semper Fi snorted, his tail twitching with amusement. "Then again, I guess she always did. You know, except for the fact that she killed a dude in cold-blood, but with good reason."

[Just the circumstances are funny, in of themselves. I mean, how do you apologize for threatening to kill somebody? That'd be an awkward situation no matter who you are.]

Friends? thought Strike. Maybe that's a bit too far... But she smiled anyways, and said, "That would be nice. We're heading back as quickly as we can, but it might be some time before we can do any serious traveling." She stepped out of the way so Semper Fi could continue his conversation, thinking hard about several different things at once. Things like the prospect of having friends, of trust, of what to do now that her revenge was complete. It would be hard to mend the damage she had caused, and she couldn't help but chuckle at Semper Fi's words. They're true, dimwit, said the voice in her head. Shut up! she told the voice. And get out of my head! I can make my own choices, without your commentary, thank you very much.

"Having issues with your brain? Oh dear, what's a remedy for a crazed, brainwashed wolf who finally smiled again - which is sorta ironic because she laughed after she killed someone - that's talking to herself? Hrmmm... I guess I need to call in the experts." SF grinned, poking fun at Strike.

Utau laughed a little and winced again. "Ow.." she said quietly, hoping it wouldnt be heard. "Semper Fi that isnt nice." she teased and forced a little laughter, but it sounded rather strained. "Okay, and like I said, just get well!" she barked, trying to sound happy but it just sounded a bit strained and a little painful, she hoped that they wouldnt notice.

"Huh, maybe you need an expert too, Utau." Semper Fi commented, looking concerned, the playful air vanishing.

Strike laughed a bit and winced at the pain in her ribs, then yawned. Suddenly, she was tired. Exhausted, more like. And the fireball was warmer than a regular campfire, probably because it contained Elemental power. The white wolf curled up on the ground near the flame and placed her head on her paws, dropping quietly off into a deep and dreamless sleep.

Utau sighed "Guess I'm not hiding it very well am I? Ah well I tryed. Ugh who am I kidding I feel like I've been thrown into every tree in the forest, ran to Mt. Fuji and back to the forest." she barked.

"I really hope you're alright. Sorry if I sound abrupt, but I should get going. Bye, Utau, got to go." SF whispered, not wanting to wake Strike. "Strike's asleep. Wouldn't want to wake her with our mindless chatter. I hope you're okay. Remember my advice, the marigold, goldenrod, poppy and dandelion seeds." He settled down next to Strike, washing her fur until finally he fell asleep himself.
