The she searched for Swiftstrike, and guessed he was still sleeping. Tawny snatched a dove, and padded into the warriors den. Sure enough, he was dosing away in his nest. She padded over as quietly as she could and placed the dove next to him, she poked his scruff gently with her nose and whispered, "Swiftstrike, get up."

"u-um, well thank you," she mewed to the strange she cat in front of her. would all cats accept her this easily? she wasn't against it, but she had heard that the wild cats were rather stern. strict, and unforgiving when it came to outsiders. she thought that she'd been lucky when she had stumbled upon hawktalon, who was semi welcoming. oh well. the she cat trailed behind hawktalon. "well, that was rather abrupt. i didn't even get to know her name," she muttered indignantly, half to herself, half to hawktalon. "are all wild cats this welcoming? you certainly weren't that... instantly accepting," she stuck out her tongue at him, playfully and slightly childishly.

"okay then, how about rabbit?" he suggested, picking up a plump hare and setting it down in front of mintheart. then a faint blush colored his cheeks. "w-would you like to share?" he mewed sheepishly, looking at her.

swiftstrike !!

the patched tom was woken up by a tawny pelt standing over him, gently shaking his scruff. he blinked sleepily, then scrambled to his paws. "tawnysplat! how- what time is it? it can't be more than dawn..." he mewed indignantly. mousedung, it's almost sun-high, swiftstrike thought to himself. he blushed heavily. of course you have to be caught sleeping too late by one of the prettiest she cats in the clan... swiftstrike shook that thought away, then tried to make himself look presentable. "what brings you here, tawny?" he mewed to her.

She watched as his expressions changed from worried, to anxious, to selfconsious. She smiled her tiny, cute smile at him,and purred softly. "Well, I wanted to see if, well.. if your up for it..., if you would come hunting with me." She kept it slow and simple,
trying hard not to let him say no. She might be pregnant, she thought, but she wasn't so far as to not being able to hunt.

swiftstrike found himself smiling back. he licked his front right paw and drew it over his ears unconsciously. his eyes softened a little as he glanced down at tawnysplat's stomach. she was expecting kits any day now... "well, if you're up for it," he mewed teasingly, twitching his whiskers in amusement and smirking.

She grinned and her tail beat softly on the ground. "Eat you dove and we'll go." She nudged it toward him and whisked out of the den, her fluffy tail twitching slightly as she walked. She bounced up and down as she waited by the camp entrance for Swiftstrike. She wanted to have the clan well fed, as well as her coming kits.

he rolled his eyes playfully, mewing, "yes ma'am," before dipping his head and crouching down to start eating the dove. when he was done, swiftstrike bounded out the den, flicking tawnysplat's pelt gently with his tail as a friendly greeting. "come on! we're wasting daylight, i've already slept half the day away," he mewed jokingly, starting to pad towards the camp entrance.

The she meowed and chased after him.They ran out of camp and spent the day catching a fine amount of prey. The grass tickled her nose as she sniffed an old burrow,and the scent of fox strong in the air. The queen turned to Swiftstrike, "When we get back, we must tell the leader about the fox." she stood on her hind legs and placed her paws on the base of a tall oak, looking up into it's vast branches. The sound of squirrels chattering above made her fur stand high, she didn't like being useless during a hunt. "Swiftstrike, could you check up here for prey?" (She is to ashamed to admit she can't climb)

Raingaze & Fallowwing
They blinked in surprise at the size of this hunting patrol, but they just looked at each other and shrugged. The more the merrier, they supposed.

Raingaze (tags; Hollyshine)
He glanced around the camp before noticing Hollyshine. With a smile, he padded up to her a dipped his head. "Shadowdance wants a few cats to go on a hunting patrol. Would you like to go?"

Fallowwing (tags; Silverheart, Fawnspirit)
The mottled she-cat padded in the direction of a small group of cats lazily/comfortably sharing tonuges. She looked to Silverheart and Fawnspirit. "Hellow, Silverheart, Fawnspirit," Fallowwing mewed. "Shadowdance is organizing a hunting patrol and asked me to ask a few cats to go; would two like to join us?"

Duskpaw - still sitting at a quiet edge of the camp.

Hawktalon narrowed his eyes the slightest bit, "Don't get ahead of yourself too quickly, you have yet to meet the rest of the Clan." he pointed out, hoping that they wouldn't discriminate against her just because she was a kittypet. "Plus, you still need to prove to my leader that you have what it takes to become one of us."

Fawnspirit nodded, eager to join a hunting patrol with Shadowdance, Fallowwing, and Silverheart. "Sure, I don't see why not. Let's get going, then." she meowed as she began to head toward the exit of camp.
