Bon Bon looked up again, unsure as to what to say. After a moment she said, "That's how I am with slingshots." Now feeling a bit more relaxed, the rabbit gave a cheery smile. "If there was a slingshot contest, I feel I would perform rather well!"

Han stretched out on the ground, relaxing beneath the shade of a tree. The warmth of summer was great; he could always find a comfortable place to sleep because of it. Though, with a festival in town, things surely weren't too quiet. Han opened an eye in irritation, looking about to see if anyone was around. When he saw there was no one he would contentedly close his eyes, only to repeat the process again minutes later.

Business was usually slow on festival days, and today seemed to be no exception. Café stood outside the small coffee shop, cleaning one of the patio tables with a rag. All the while she swept the patio with her tail; this made quick work of the patio. If no one wanted coffee, she might as well take the day to clean.[/quote]

"Oh! Maybe we could bring up something like that to the mayor?" Apidae asked, crossing his lower arms over his body thoughtfully considering his main pair was currently busy holding his net. "Maybe a contest shooting down balloons? Oh, oh, maybe the balloons could be carrying different colored... something, sticks maybe?, and different colors could be worth different amounts of points!" His wings were buzzing in short bursts now as his speech sped up in his excitement. "What do you think?"

The eyes of the rabbit were shining as she considered the idea. Such a festival would be perfect... Though, there would have to be someone willing to host it. Bon Bon's ears twitched a few times, before she grinned. "I think I'll have to talk with Mayor Cosmo about that. What a good idea, Apidae!" As she said this, her voice was somewhat squeaky; she never really used her voice this much.

"Heh, I'm glad you like it," was his answer, scratching the side of his head with his net almost sheepishly at her reaction. "Hopefully he'll consider the idea? It would be pretty cool to have a contest based off slingshot skills too, we already have fishing and bug catching after all." While Apidae was confidant in his bug catching abilities, he knew that not everyone found their strengths in either of those two things- like Bon Bon herself. It would be nice to have things for everyone to participate in without... well, struggling to even enter.

Bon Bon was lost in thought now, pondering over what they would need for such a festival. It might be difficult to get it started... When she heard Apidae speak again, her grin became more confident. "Oh, as long as it has nothing to do with digging holes, the mayor would be fine with just about anything." Now, the rabbit grimaced; how had that animal ever become the mayor?

Zhen started walking towards the field, she knew there were alot of butterflies around there. She hoped se wouldnt need to run away from any buzzing bees or beetles. Once Zhen reached the field she imideatley noticed a birmstone butterfly. She had always loved bright coloured wings on butterflies. Carefully she walked closer to the insect not wanting to scare it away.

As the chinchilla finished sweeping, she decided to head out for a short walk. The field seemed like a comfortable place to be, so she headed there. Once arriving, she discovered she wasn't alone. Spotting Zhen, Café stayed quiet, wanting to see what the deer was doing.

"I... suppose you're right, huh?" Apidae laughed quietly. The mayor certainly was an odd one, but everything in town functioned so he couldn't really complain. "I wish you luck when you bring it up to him," He noted fairly quickly after. Sometimes things that that could be kind of stress inducing. He was honestly kind of impressed that Bon Bon had said she was going to bring it up to him herself.

As if she read Apidae's thoughts, Bon Bon began to sway back and forth nervously. The determined gleam in her eyes was replaced by a look of fear. "I don't really want to ask him on my own, though. It's kind of nerve wracking just thinking about it..." Embarrassed, a nervous chuckle escaped the rabbit. "I'll wait for another day, as today is still a festival..."

A slight tilt of his head, antennae quivering slightly in concern. "Would... you like me to go with you, when you talk to him?" He asked. "Bringing it up tomorrow would be a good idea, though. When everything's less.. hectic." A vague wave of his net just at their surroundings in general. Festivals were always hectic, though usually in a good way.
