Puddlejump glanced between the two cats before he nodded. "Alright." he said before he looked back out at the forest. He wasn't interested in the talk the clan was engaged in. He wasn't really sure what he was interested in.. He hadn't been for a while.. His only solace being the thought of the new clan.. A new start..

Embergaze turned her head slowly her now icy gaze falling on Stormwake. When she spoke her voice was emotionless. "I went to see where the fire was." she said calmly. "I then returned to camp and gave the direction. My direction, to your fellow Warriors, was to get the queens and kits, to get the apprentices, and to get the elders." she said before she hissed loudly. "If your sister was left behind the blame is on your fellow warriors." she paused for a moment. "I told them to get the elders. If they did not pay attention you need to ask them why they cannot follow directions." she said. "There is nothing I can do about it now. I will be going out and looking for my clan mates, because I am their deputy and have a duty to go after and protect them as best I can. But I cannot hold every paw and make sure every one is accounted for by myself. That is why I am here taking names instead of doing absolutely nothing. Because I am your deputy. Because I am giving directions. Because I am doing all that I possibly can." she then turned away. "Morningpaw!" She shouted out. "Where is Foxpaw?" She asked. "Nightpaw said you, Cometpaw, and Foxpaw were together this morning outside of camp." she said her voice returning to its normal tone.

Frostpetal frowned "Leafbare is right around the corner Peonydapple.." she said with a small frown. "Where are we going to live? We have six queens and soon all of them are going to be having kits! How will we keep them warm? Fed?" she asked nervously.

Ravenwind leapt through the flames not giving any consideration as to what that could mean for him. If it burnt him, oh well, he'd live. "Absolutely not! Are you insane?!" he asked. He looked over as his brother joined him. "Help me get her up." he said his voice trembling slightly. Brackenfall helped his brother lift Windsong up onto his back. "Were going to get you out of here. The clan is at the river." he said.

Brackenfall after helping his brother he glanced around, trying to find the quickest and safest route. He coughed deeply "Okay, crap, this way! Just go!" he snapped before he lead the way trying to get them out of the fire as fast as possible. He wanted to play it safe, but time was against them. If they hesitated it could mean death for all three of them.

Swiftleap nodded "Alright." he said. He followed along looking defeated. He couldn't get his mind off of his family. Were they okay? Were they safe? He didn't know.. And if they were safe they wouldn't know that he was.. He'd almost lost Briareyes to that sickness was that only so he could lose her now?? He pinned his ears and continued along.

Hawktalon nodded "Noted." he replied simply as he kept an eye out. He was better at fighting than his brother was, Swiftleap was better at hunting. Though his brother was fluffier he was much leaner than the muscular darker tabby. He'd already decided he'd protect them both, he wouldn't lose another sibling. "Hopefully the fire is gone soon.. I can't believe it got so big so fast.." he said trying to fill the silence between them all.

Morningpaw
Turning to look at the deputy, she nodded. "Indeed, we were. But Foxpaw had seen the smoke, and went to investigate. I heard him head back to camp, I think... Wait... No he wouldn't. He would make sure his sister was safe before anyone else..." Morningpaw meowed, then looked at her half-sister. After a dramatic scene and stuff, she ran to her half-brother. Picking his body up by the scruff, she and Nightpaw carried him to the other bank. Nosing him, she could smell the scent of death. "He is gone Nightpaw. There is nothing we can do."

Nightpaw
"He would... This is my fault... He's gone because of me!" Nightpaw wailed. Noticing some rustling, she looked at a group of burning bushes and saw a flash of black ash stained orange fur. "Foxpaw?" She called. Seeing his body fall, she made her way over. Nosing him, she wailed. "Be won't wake up! Morningpaw, get him to wake up!" She yowled. Hearing her brother was gone, Nightpaw flopped down. The world was spinning, and she groaned. "He was all I had left..." She whispered, and pushed her nose into his fur.

Foxpaw
Faintly, be heard a distressed wail... Nightpaw! "I'm coming Nightpaw!" He muttered. Crawling towards the river painfully, he could see his sister through bush and smoke. Making his way through, he managed to get up, and walk, but clasped at the river bank. "Y-yes..." He groaned, and closed his eyes, not before making sure his last sight was his beloved sister.

Blazekit was so busy worrying about her family she hadn't noticed another branch fall. It hit her back. She shook it lose quickly. The branch also made contact with the tip on her tail. But through it all she didn't panic. If the kits were coming she did not wish to cause Flamingshadow anymore worry. Instead Blazekit stayed close to Robinslash.
