Willowkit clung from the tree,trying her best not to fall. She mewed, climbing carefully onto the branch. She sighed, she had been staying here for a month and her mother hadn't found her.

Viper saw the little kit and gasped she climbed up the tree ''Are you ok?'' she mewed licking the little kits fur to keep it warm

Willowkit mewed fearfully, facing Viper and backing up until she hit the tree trunk.

❧ Privetpaw basked in the sun, oblivious to the commotion around her. Well, not totally oblivious; she could sense all the other cats' feelings and actions, but for the most part ignored it. She did, however, give a snicker at the obvious affections being shared between Seastar and Barkshade, but after that tried hard to hold her tongue. Privetpaw had finished the morning's work: sorting through the comfrey and nettle piles, cleaning the den, and collecting more sprigs of catmint. So, the white she-cat treated herself to a small gift of lazing in the sun.

Soon, her stomach began to rumble. Sighing, she padded to the fresh-kill pile, hooking a large blackbird with a claw and tossing it carelessly to her sunning spot. Don't do that, it's disrespectful! she scolded herself lightly, gently picking up the blackbird and inking into it's warm, feathery flesh.

As soon as she bit into the avian, her pale blue eyes turned wide and her mind swirled. A vision! The scene was clear: a blackbird screeching as it fluttered from a tree, startled by the activity below. What's he flying from? Privetpaw wondered, focusing in on the blurry shapes nestled into the tree roots. A... A cream tabby with a gray kit, the apprentice figured, confused as to why two strangers were on her clan's territory. She's saying something to it, the white she-cat noticed, straining to make out what they were saying. In her visions, her hearing was usually like that of a normal cat's, but at the bird's-eye-view angle it felt like she was in the present with her awful hearing. Finally, she could hear a word. Viper was the only term she could make out before her world swirled into darkness.

Privetpaw blinked. Immediately, the blackness drained into light. She was back in camp, gripping a half-eaten blackbird between her paws. Her light blue eyes were no longer stretched wide, and her fur fell flat on her shoulders as opposed to how she had spiked her pelt during the sight. The apprentice no longer felt like eating, and carried her blackbird back to the pile. For a heartbeat, she pondered wandering into the forest and finding the kit and rogue, but though better of it. "I have duties here," she murmured, barely audible.

And with that, she shakily walked back to her sunning spot.
