Scarletblaze flinched, taken aback by her mate's harsh response. She flattened her ears, and nudged Maroonpaw. "Come on, let's leave him alone." She said, hiding her face with her tail to hide her tears.

He looked away,his eyes narrowed

"Why are you mean to mommy." Bumblepaw growled, glaring at his father. "What is wrong with you? She's your mate, and you just scolded at her. Is that a way you should talk to your mate? MY mother? She was worried for you!" He growled, shaking his head in dissapointment.

Owltuft started to blush. "Umm...Wanna go near the river to get some fish?" He asked, nervous. "Get some fish? Really? nice going Owltuft."He thought, slapping his head.

She tilted her head slightly "uhh..you ok?"

"Yes! I'm fine! I'm just not good at flirting!" Owltuft said franticly, then gasping. "I DIDN'T SAY FLIRTING I MEAN...Uh...SPEAKING!! YEAH!"
