"I think you look like an angry, wet dove." she smirked at his ruffled coat and cuffed a paw across his ear to knock one of the feathers out before she raced to the camp exit. She walked lightly, careful not to tread on any leaves, her tail inches from the ground. She lowered her body and crept towards the rabbit. Suddenly she jumped onto the rabbit. Using all of her wait to keep it down, as it squirmed she put her hind paw on the rabbit's back, sinking her claws into it. "See?" She said, the rabbit continued to squirm, then she gave the killing bite. "You should put all of your weight on the rabbit pinning it down. Then use your hind paw to get a better grip. Which should make it easier to kill it." She grinned and picked up the rabbit. "Oh yeah, my name.. Well Im Ottercreek." She said her voice muffled by the rabbit in her mouth. She squinted at the sun. "We'd better get going it's Sunhigh, if you want to get back before sundown I suggest you get moving." She nudged him playfully.

So as he left the camp he accidentally bumped into a cat, the sun's glare in his eye's he couldn't see who it was, "Sorry about that.." He trailed off unable to catch the cat's scent.

He ran after her, the other feather in his ear finally escaping. He sped past her, he slowed as he caught the scent of a rabbit, he walked deftly to it. He crouched, getting ready to pounce, suddenly he jumped onto it, pinning it. He gave the killing bite. He held it in his mouth grinning. "Caught it!" He said to Emberpaw. A leaf was stuck on his forehead, making him look strange.

The ashen maiden followed him into the woods as they sped through the dense underbrush. She watched as he crouched and the scent of rabbit hit her nose. She stood still, holding her breath as she watched him as he stalked the creature with fierce intent before he attacked and killed the rabbit with a swift bite. "Nice catch Lionpaw" she cheered his chase, still silent enough not to startle any of the nearby birds and mice. She started to walk again along the path but turned around quickly to look again at the leaf that was now stuck on his forehead. Opening her mouth while tilting her head she was about to mention the foliage stuck to him but caught the scent of a squirrel jumping around the base of a tree nearby. Emberpaw flicked her tail with a decisive motion and sprinted towards it in a full crouch. She cut through the bushes and leapt out from her cover to pounce on her prey and snap its neck.

He was shocked at first when he felt the she-cat lean against him but relaxed and leaned against her, "Yea, but I think he will starve himself until he was skin and bone if you told him it would make him a better warrior," He laughed softly.
