Shade gasped gently as one of the kits was born, reaching forward and grabbing it by the scruff gently. licking it gently but roughly at the same time, after several minutes he flattened his ears when it began wailing pitifully. this one's alive! he exclaimed brightly. the kit was weak and small and he hoped it would survive but seeing how loud its wails were it had good lungs and heart.

Feathertail padded out of the den gently, his face weighed down with shock and fear. He watched his clan mates scurry back and forth, and decided the sight was too much for him to bear at the moment. The tom ran out of the clan into the open, letting his thoughts crash down on him one at a time as he trudged around aimlessly.

"you're very close to the border," she warned.

noticing cloverfur's change of attitude, they plastered a smile onto their face as well and dipped their head to the warrior.
