Palestar turned to face his deputy with questioning, yet worried look. A pang of anxiety flooded through him, after everything that had happened the sudden disappearance of another cat, let alone a queen, was worrying him immensely, "Alright, but I'm coming with you." He insisted, getting up and making his way out of his den and beckoning Silverpounce over to him, allowing the deputy to lead the way.

Robinkit turned from the warrior’s den and saw Palestar emerging and she ran over to the leader, ears pricked nervously.
“Are we going? What’s happening?”
She glanced back at the warrior’s den, slightly unnerved that no-one answered her call.

He turned around and faced the kit. "Palestar is coming with us. We can go now." He was a bit worried about how will the clan feel alone, without a leader or deputy to handle them, but he shook it off, thinking it will take them just a few minutes. He was really hoping that Daisyshine was just on a very long stroll.

Swanfeather paced nervously outside her den. She had awoken to the news of another missing cat. She prayed to StarClan that it wasnt another murder, that Daisyshine would be just fine.

“Yay! Let’s go!” She headed towards the camp entrance, seeing the medicine cat.
“Hi Swanfeather! We’re gonna go find Daisyshine!” She didn’t stop to wait for a response, just scampered out of the camp. She paused just beyond the thorn barrier to nervously wait for the leader and deputy.

He smiled nervously at his sister Swanfeather, knowing what's going on in her mind. He exited the camp with Palestar and Robinkit. "Do you have any suspicions on where she might be?" He asked both Palestar and Robinkit with a dull expression, obviously a bit worried but not wanting to believe she also got killed.

“Can you smell her?”
Robinkit stuck her nose to the ground and breathed in sharply, snorting as she breathed in dirt. She sniffed again, more carefully.
“I think I smell her! I smell her! I’m a great tracker!”
Robinkit started off again, following the scent trail into the woods.

The leader shook his head at his deputy's question as they padded out of camp, "No, I didn't even see her leave camp-" He was then interrupted by the small kit that was with them. Sighing, he knew Robinkit thought this was all just a big adventure, but Palestar couldn't shake the paranoid feeling of something being wrong. Steering out of his anxiety filled thoughts, he trotted close beside the kit, sniffing around also for the queens scent. Frowning, he noticed that there was another Thunderclan scent that mingled with Daisyshine's, but it was so faint he was unable to recognize it and that paranoid feeling began creeping back up on him, making his fur prickle.

He trotted after Robinkit, also starting to feel Daisyshine's scent, mixed with... three more scents? Dog scent, blood scent and... a cat's scent. The closer they were getting to the Twoleg's houses the less faint the scents were. "Why would she come near Twolegs?" The tom pinned his ears, obviously disturbed. Why did he feel dogs and blood? His face gained an expression: fear. He ran up to Robinkit and blocked her way, then waited for Palestar to catch up. "We need to remain cautious. I smell dogs." He growled, carrying on, but very cautiously, and also keeping Robinkit near him so that she won't run off or hurt herself.
