Slatekit woke up as the scent of ash and smoke filled her nose. She meowed loudly and looked at her imaginary sister Lightkit."LIGHTKIT! FIRE!" She yelled. She flicked her tail and ran outside. She knew the murder was still out there but she didn't care there was a fire to worry about. Slatekit raced outside as her ears were folded on her head tightly."WE HAVE TO GO!" Slatekit shouted hoping some one would hear her. She sat down and watched their beloved woods burn.

Cutstripe had already been awake when Crowflight came charging into camp. The smell of smoke had followed after the deputy, and his ears were folded against his head as the smell was noticeable in the air. Smoke had come to be known as a sign of death, he knew that by this point, and the tom hated knowing that one of their clanmates had likely gone missing again. Was it just the cold or the feeling of helplessness that made him shudder?

He turned his head as Slatekit came darting out of the nursery screaming about the fire again and making him twitch his tail in worry. He trotted over to her, and put his tail around her. "Slatekit, we'll be alright," he lied, twitching anxiously again as the smell of smoke grew stronger near the edge of the camp. Cutstripe stood back up and nudged the kit with his tail, assuring "Palestar will tell us where to go," and walking closer to the High Rock to wait for instructions.

Slatekit looked up at Cutstripe. She could tell he was scared. But everyone was only a few of them remained ad there was a large fire going on top of that. She looked over at Lightkit and swallowed."Well i hope they do." Slatekit said. All the smoke in the air was making it hard and painful to breath. She stood up and began to walk to the high rock keeping a close eye on the fire. She sighted."Lightkit i cant play now. Theirs a fire going on." Slatekit said as she looked over at Cutstripe then continued walking.

Palestar quickly bounded up to the high rock, he almost called a clan meeting but there were only 5 of them left, so there was no point.
"We head to sunningrocks for now," he stated simply, at this point it would almost make more sense to join an existing clan....

He hated to abandon camp, but they'd be safe near the river.

Aaah I've still not had time for proper sleuthing but as we can be fairly sure either cut or crow is going next, and I'm faaaairly sure that Crow must be innocent, I'm going to act to at least keep our most likely guard around for another round.
