Finchkit’s cheeks tingled, he smiled and let her head sink into his fur.”Icekit, I just want to forget about the world around us....just be here with my best friend, you.” He purred and shut his eyes. Softly he hummed a bit, sometimes opening his eyes. Finchkit’s body felt like a soft pile of sand. Finchkit opened his eyes putting his paw gently on her’s giving a small yawn. Finchkit looked into her eyes, seemingly both of their worries were melting away.

This terrible cat... Making her kits worry like this... Stormclaw tried to think of a cat who could do such a thing, then a certain she-cat popped into her mind, but would she really be this horrible? Stormclaw hoped so, as she was:

Icekit gazed into Finchkit’s eyes, dazzled by the determined spark in them. She felt like she could go on like this forever, just the two of them. ”Finchkit... when you become an apprentice... will you still see me?” Icekit was a few moons younger than Finchkit, and it would be a while before she joined in as an apprentice. A terrifying thought came into Icekit’s mind. Would the murderer try to target Finchkit? They wouldn’t be that cruel, would they?
