the sun has set, although not all the cats are sleeping. two stay awa
ke, wandering into the woods with another cat close behind.

"...what are you doing out so late?' the cat following them, beetleno
se, asks suspiciously.

the cat infront turns to look at beetlenose. "just admiring the territo
ry, do you ever notice how beautiful it is in the moonlight?" they ask
a question back at them.

"yeah, it really is beautiful...." beetlenose trails off, thinking about s
omething deep, "...nightclaw isn't actually the killer, you know that,
don't you? you're really the killer, aren't you?"

"no, im not, I didn't mean to...yewpaw was an accident, so were the
others-" the killer didn't get any more time to speak, as beetlenose l
unges at them and pins them down.

"you killed them all, why?" beetlenose is about to take the killing stri
ke, when suddenly the killer pushes them off.

beetlenose lets out a yelp as she tumbles down into a deep cavern,
never to be seen from again, and is instead welcomed to the ranks
of starclan.

(Woah O_O The killer actually had to defend themselves)

Tornadostar was as usual, one of the first up as it had only been so long sense she was deputy. She looked around at the camp around her. Shaking out her ruffled fur, she sighed, her shoulder stung. There had been a thorn in her nest last night. She swished her tail agitated. She hated when that happened. She would talk to the apprentices about watching for thorns or sharp pieces of bark later.

She went back into her den, and walked back out, carrying out the thorn between her jaws. She walked over and spit it into the camp wall. She then licked her shoulder, as it still stung. She considered going to see her daughter, to see if there was something she could do to help with the pain, and prevent infection. But at this point she didn't think it was necessary. She instead went and walked over to the fresh-kill pile and picked out a thrush for herself.

The deputy was wide awake, her dreams haunting her. Did Nightclaw really do it? She pondered as she looked up and noticed that Tornadostar was up and about too. I don't think he did, it isn't like the tomcat to be...murderous. The sandy pelted cat then let out a shiver as she had to suppress her emotions and to be strong for the clan.

(Shoot, I was about to vote Beetlenose as the killer)
Woodenheart sat near the fresh-kill pile, glad that she, and the other voters helped exile the killer. Now I have time to train Glowpaw on hunting! Woodenheart thought, selecting a plump mouse to eat.

After eating, Woodenheart went over to train her apprentice for the day. "Come on out, Glowpaw! We're going to start hunting!" Woodenheart sang.

Tornadostar nodded to Woodheart, as the warrior walked past her to the fresh-kill pile. Then spotted Sweetfang. She hoped talking to the she-cat would help take her mind off what had happened to her family lately, with Yewpaw dying, and now Nightclaw her mate being exiled. Finishing that last of her thrush, the black pelted she-cat stood, and strode over to Sweetfang. "Hello there." She greeted, forcing something akin to a smile. It was more of a halfhearted smirk though.
