long ago when bramblestar was still leader of thunderclan and all four clans still thrived together, connected, windclan was driven from their land by shadowclan. heart broken and feeling stabbed in the back, the current windclan leader promised to never trust shadowclan cats again, or any of the other three for as long as she may live. but now that it has been many moons and seasons since she has passed and there is a new generation of windclan cats, will they migrate back to their ancestors home? or stay where they have lived out their whole lives, safe from the harshness of the shadowclan monsters.

the dusky long haired she-cat stirred in her nest as she slowly awoke from her night's rest. she blinked
open her eyes and quickly stood in her nest, shaking her pelt so she could "shake" the sleepiness away. after
grooming herself for a moment or two she exited the den and let the cool morning breeze flow gently through
her smooth fur. she glanced around, looking at the cats who were awake. she knew she would
have to make an announcement concerning border patrols and hunting patrols, their prey pile was looking
a little low.

the long legged warrior was an early riser and had been long awake before any other warrior in
the clan. he liked to hear the world around him awaken. cloudstep's favorite thing in the
morning is to listen to the birds chirping, watching the sun rise and listen to the kits in the
clan mewl for their mother's milk.

crowpaw tried her best to be quiet as she got ready to leave the apprentices' den but she
managed to get moss all over the apprentices' that were still asleep. she felt her face
blush red but prayed to starclan that they would not notice all the moss and slowly slinked
through the exit of the den. she smiled as the morning sun warmed her pelt, slowly forgetting about
her mishap in the apprentices' den.
