He smiled, trying to convince the she-cat he thought so too. It would be a total mess. He told himself as he closed his eyes and fell into a deep thought. What would the clan be if there weren't any medicine cats? And what would the two legs be? "But..." his voice trailed off as he stopped himself, not to upset the she-cat, as she was really enthusiastic about running away. I do have my responsibility to uphold. He reminded himself. gorsewhisker twitched his whiskers in amusement as mistystream took in the view. he smiled while watching the lithe warrior's eyes darting around excitedly. as the she cat poked her head curiously through the waterfall, gorsewhisker laughed, bounding over to join her excitedly. "wow," he murmured, half to mistystream and half to himself. he'd never thought of exploring beyond the waterfall before, he'd always assumed it was just more rock.

"what is it?" she asked and cocked her head to one side, wondering what flamepaw was thinking about. but of course, inside her mind, creampaw did know, and it was the fact that they were both medicine cat apprentices. they both had duties to take care of, and if they left, who would take care of them? surely the medicine cats couldn't do it alone.

She blushed and leaned forward before pressing a small lick on his muzzle, not realizing what she had done. "Thank you," she spoke softly as she stared at the deputy lovingly. "Thank you for taking me here."

"N-nothing," he lied easily. I couldn't tell her my biggest fears, she would leave me at once. He thought himself as he stared at the she-cat before him and smiled, "it was just a flashing thought, there is nothing to worry about." He reassured her, though in his mind he was doubting himself. "It's okay," he reassured her. "It's just something that had been bugging me lately, but I'm not quite sure what it is." He spoke softly and smiled back, "it won't be big enough to stand between us." He thought of the gathering, "I have no idea when the gathering is, but where would you be sitting? Maybe I could sneak my way there," he spoke, as he crouched and stalked his way, moving his body as if he was sneaking into something.
