Echobreeze noticed the kit did look similar to her brother, though it didn't surprise her. She followed the other she-cat into the nursery, looking at the kits."They are all so cute!"she purred, looking at the small kittens. She didn't touch one though, scared she would hurt them.

"This is Gorsekit." She meowed licking the silver and brown tom. "This is Pebblekit." She licked the silver tom next. "This one is Ebonykit." She licked the dark silver and brown tom. "You already met Adderkit." The queen purred looking at her only daughter.

"Four kits!"Echobreeze knew a few could be a pawful, but four would surely keep a queen busy."You have a lot on your paws."she purred."Thats not a bad thing though. Kits are wonderful to have, though I guess I can't really say that. I haven't had my own, but I guess I can make a thought based on how other queens are around their kits.

"Oh they are quite a pawful, but it's worth it." She purred nuzzling each kit on the head.

Adderkit

She looked up at her mother, "Mama." She purred softly her blue eyes wide. She knew now that the cat she had met before in her dream wasn't in the clan. He smelled different than the clan. But he was nice, maybe she could meet him again?

Echobreeze nodded, imagining what it was like to have kits. She was pulled from her thoughts as she heard a voice, quickly drawing her attention to the kit that had spoke."Look, your kit is already a little warrior."she purred, her gaze returning to the kit once she had finished speaking."I suppose the others will be opening their eyes soon."

She nodded, "Adderkit was the first to speak, the first to walk and the first to open her eyes. I guess she just knows what she wants." She purred. "My little warrior." The queen murmured licking her kit's ear.

Adderkit

She yawned and pawed at her mothers stomach. "Warm." She purred gently nipping at Ebonykit's tail in a playful manner.

Echobreeze wondered what it would be like to be a mother, having little ones to care for. It would be wonderful, raising them with your mate, watching them become warriors, but it came at a risk. If they were to die then the parents and siblings would have to deal with the loss of a loved one."I can see she'll make a splendid warrior."
