She would never let that happen to her, but because of the dark forest Frostcloud was dead."It was Badgersrike."she answered Frostblaze as he demanded to know the murderer's name."He killed her in cold blood. I wish I had been there sooner."

Flickerstep padded outside. He didn't want anyone to know he was training where badgerstrike did but at least p he knew he wouldn't be killing for no reason. "I bet badgerstrike will be haunted by this. He may not be now, but it will get to him."

"Well, congratulations," He snarled, "You looked up to a murderer, don't beat yourself up about it. I'm going in now, come with me or wish me luck." The tom let out a thin hiss and then pushed through the camp entrance. His black and white pelt prickled as pairs of eyes set upon him. He scanned the clearing, his blue eyes shining with pleasure. "If you want to talk about me, at least say it to my face," he hissed cruelly.

Featherfall whirled around, her eyes narrowed."Why did you come back?"She asked, her voice cold."You took the life of a clanmate and fled. You shouldn't be here!"she lashed her tail, but didn't attack. Just because the tom was cruel enough to hurt others didn't mean she had to try and kill him. Revenge would not fill the emptiness she felt now, but it would only make it worse.

"Badgerstrike, leave already!" Flickerstep hissed. He had done enough. If you can kill cats in the dark forest that are already dead, flickerstep would learn plenty and find willowtail. He knew he would probably fail, but that shecat put words in badgerstrike head. "Wolftooth, don't attack...."
